Because I want to make a wish. I don’t even care if I am selling my soul or something so somebody please help me get into contact with Mr. Incubator.
I wish to gather all copies of this movie and burn them from existence, even from the memories of those who were un-fortunate enough to watch it.
I am forever prepared for the despair that might come from having this wish granted so dear Mr. Quubei, please make it happen!
So what if I am exaggerating (by other people’s standards), to me there is no such thing. This movie was so bad that I am sure I spent a third of it with my eyes closed because I couldn’t bare to see the embarrassment too in combination of hearing it as well.
The two things that forced me to watch this thing through was Kawaguchi Haruna (Yuki) and the feeling that I had an obligation to see the thing through before I flamed it. Too bad I wasted my precious time (2 hours of complete crap).
I am not going to point out specific suckies of the sucky because the whole thing was bad! It was so bad I had to sacrifice sleep to re-watch the anime to affirm my belief that Moshidora (as a whole) isn’t actually that bad. And girl was I ever glad to see that wasn’t the case (Moshidora is not bad I mean).
The movie didn’t not get any emotion out of me other than complete and utter disappointment. I mean I knew from way back then that it would be bad but not to this level of bad. I put it off as being because I watched the anime so the movie wasn’t that appealing but when I re-watched the anime, it still moved me to tears so that wasn’t the issue.
The bottom line is this movie simply sucks!
Why am I even wasting my time typing up this post?! Oh well, since I’ve come this far…
Sorry to those who want to watch this but I ain’t giving you a link because I deleted all things related to this movie after publishing of this post so you will have to dig around for it.
As for recommendations, unless you’re a hard-core Acchan and/or Miichan fan or haven’t yet watched the anime, please stay away from this…this..thing!

Sad to hear such a negative review of Moshidora. I haven’t seen the movie yet myself, but I still plan to eventually because I am a Miichan-oshi. Hopefully, I’ll have a different impression of the movie than you did. And if not, I’ll just admire Miichan whenever she’s on screen. =P

Since your Oshi is Miichan, you might love the movie since she actually talks more in it than her character did in the whole of the anime.
Which puts her character OOC by this fact but please, ignore this and enjoy it. Also I hear it's been subbed so you're in luck! ^^

Awww man. I really liked the Moshidora anime A LOT! The connection Minami and Yuki had was nothing other than love in my eyes. I couldn’t hold back my tears when IT happened. I was hoping the movie would be able to capture all the great moments that made the anime so enjoyable for me but to hear a fellow yuri nation member tear it to shreds made me feel sad. Oh well, at least I’ll always have fond memories created by the anime.

Forgive me if I brought you down with my words but if you watched it, and I know you are a great fan of the anime, then surely you agree? That movie was wreck! Even my love for Acchan, Miichan and how incredibly cute Haruna-chan (Yuki) was, the movie just wasn’t salvageable! There were no emotions emitting from it, well, except the ones of anger! I am still terribly angry even just thinking about it!
And the anime aired in only two weeks with an episode every week day yet they still managed to perfect it!
You know, even though it had a BAD END, I still frikking love that anime! What you said about Yuki and Minami’s feelings is true because they were strong enough to overcome the BAD END sour taste!
I love that anime and good to hear there are other like you Overlord-G, who loved it too.

Gosh, I hated this movie too. I’m more into kdramas and such but sometimes I watch jmovies and jdramas. When I saw this one in dramacrazy I thought I had an obligation to watch since it’s based on an anime and there were 2 AKB48 members, although I didn’t watch this anime and I’m not even AKB48’s fan lol but anyway I had to watch it. First impression: Atsuko Maeda is just an ordinary actress, the story is boring, baseball is even more boring, Minegishi Minami is cute SO CUTE that I only watched the movie until the end because of her. 😉 Seriously, the quality of cinematography was bad, the characters weren’t appealing, the story wasn’t the least interesting, the whole management thing was ridiculous. I almost gave up many times. What made me watch until the end? Minegishi Minami and her cuteness.

This movie can’t be worse then the HanaKimi 2011, can it? Is this movie REALLY that bad? To be honest I really don’t have any interest in baseball either… I don’t even get it why it is so popular in Japan.

Probably not if you haven’t seen the anime. Then it would be just another Jmovie!
But I made the mistake of watching the anime…which BTW is one of my favorites, then watched the movie!

Erm… Am I the the only one who found the movie QUITE good? Not GREAT but quite enjoyable a touching, especially towards the end… Compared to the anime, I think they did a DECENT job, trying to fit most of the important stuff in… I know about AKB48 but I’m not a fan… Maybe that’s why I found it pretty nice since it’s a just a movie for me.
