The moment we have been waiting for! Seriously, I believe I am not the only one who was waiting with baited breath for an Ikuchan centre! Surely! God, Nogizaka is just the best! I mean Ikuchan is Centre! This fact somehow gives me hope that we will also get a Yukirin Centre one of these singles!
Ikuchan is Centre…
I can already taste the Awesomeness of the 10th single people! Even though she has been missing on Nogitte doko these past few episodes which actually got me worried, she comes back all energetic like her usual self as if she just took a trip to the rest rooms or something! Congrats Ikuchan, I am already pretty sure you are gonna slice this single. You ooze the centre glamour so I ain’t even worried in the least.
And of course as with every single, there is always a surprise new Senbatsu entree and this time it is one of the 1st gens Saitou Chiharu. Happy for her really but other than these two facts, nothing more changed this time around. Well, unless you count Kazumi loosing her 10th spot she has been riding these past few singles. She is still in Senbatsu of course but moved number down to 15.
The other thing I found interesting was that now Hocchan and Minami are right next to each other. But it gets better, They are right behind Ikoma-kun in the line up! Nay, I don’t care anymore if Ikoma-kun is no longer a front liner, this simple fact makes me happy! Just think of the possibility of having a PV with a love triangle between them…

Ikuta is my favorite in Nogizaka46. I’m very happy for her to be the center. She deserved it and I can’t wait to see a PV.
I hope it gonna be yuri or awesome PV like Girl’s Rule, Tsuki no ookisa or Muguchi Na Lion.

The best center has finally come! XD lol, but seriously, i’ve been waiting for managment to make ikuchan its absolute center (never really bought that triple center crap they pulled the first few singles; it was still ikoma-chan in the center). Ikuchan is too talented and too brilliant a character to be wasted in the back. The true future ace imo, despite being a 1st gen (in the same vein Mayuyu). 😊

I am loving the fact that Ikuchan is center and I’m glad she’s getting her chance…….
But this Senbatsu apart from that feels kind of safe to me, like they are now more going down that AKB route, sure I know that there are always roughly the same members in there but there was generally alsways something interesting going on a I feel as though we have kind of lost that this time…..

It was inevitable really. Not even they can keep on the excitement factor for so long.
But you have to admit this feeling of not knowing who will Centre the next single is pretty okay. I wish though that they would use 2nd Gen more often. The poor always attending the Elections but not getting picked! Only Hocchan has been in all singles since they joined!
Also looking forward to Ikoma-kun returning to Centre. I mean she is the Face and I kinda miss her. You have to agree she looks the part when it is time.

Well compared to AKB then yeah it’s pretty darn exciting that the Center could be one of many 🙂 I agree 2nd gen needs to be used more, it’s always tough for that 2/3 gens in groups like this as so many originals are still around but I wouls still like to see some in there, would save them from the “AKB problem” of suddenly not having any big members left, and that Nogi top 16 is actually pretty old when you look at it…..
Ikoma-kun is almost unique, they could rank her bottom of the pile and she would still be the center, I mean all the songs she’s been in not being the center have still in their way had her as the center, that’s, well, how good she is!!
