山 - Yama in Yamamoto, Yokoyama and Iriyama means mountain in case anyone did not know ^^ And interestingly taka in Takahashi also means tall as in a high place. Lots of high walls protecting my Goddess there hehehe. Sorry, I just thought that was an interesting little observation.
Any way, Mayuyu is centre, as it should be. She is the darn Face now so it shocks me reading comments about how everyone was shocked by that. Maybe they were expecting le Paruru a la 35th single PV?! I guess no one dared think out of the box and associate that number with the number of senbatsu members, which is 36 too BTW.

Well I guess that after the last single it’s nice to see Yuki back in the er “mountain range” she is in here, I mean outside the election single this is the best we get so I guess we should be happy enough about that, I wait (with little anticipation) for the MV before giving my full thoughts on it though (though if it’s on placings some YukiMina or YuiKi pairing stuff could be good….. dare I say the YukiRena chance?)
As for Mayu, well she is really the de facto center of AKB and her having the center her is how it should be, of course it really means the pressure is on her again for the elections (I honestly think that Mayu has had it the toughest the last few years at the elections and will do again this year) but her being center here is right and proper (if for nothing else because she is the best of the REALISTIC bunch of choices)
On a side not nice to see Kizaki Yuria getting a good place too (as anyone who follows me might well know I’m very fond of her) gives me the feeling that perhaps there are some big….. ish plans for her when she moves to AKB full time (I mean Akarin showed the value of experience talent coming into AKB fresh and doing well, Yuria fits that too)

I on the other hand will not be placing high hopes on the PV. If Yukirin is only rarely seen in a 16 member senbatsu, then it will be a miracle for her to get a decent amount of screen time in a PV filled with an endless list of management favourites.
I still can’t believe she was not in the PV of the last single.
But really, we all know, and so does management, that she deserves much more than what she gets inside of AKB. And while they show appreciation for her talent with outside work, I can’t help still but hope that she gets something on the inside too, especially with how she has stated over and over her love for the group.
Sigh.
I am not sure if I should start thinking that she is too good for AKB now or what!
