スクールガール・コンプレックス～放送部篇～

So, a curious comment about the release of the movie, got me to check out the official site and found out, sadly, that it only opened in theatres like, two weeks ago (17th). Which means that we have to wait until the 2nd Half of 2014 for the DVD release (hopefully BluRay too).

But I did find something worth-while, which is a longer trailer which gives us a closer look at the cast and a bit of gist of what to expect from the movie. Obviously the site has a rundown of the story but once again, I don’t read Japanese (if it’s in kanji, which it always is) so I can’t really say what the movie is about.

But from what I saw in this longer trailer, other than the traits of the book series which are really nice gay poses with focused cameras, they tried to add in some drama in there as well…

 
 
 

 
 
 
 
 

 
 
 
 
 

 
 

It seems this will be drama centred around the main girl who has to deal with feelings from her friend as well as her own feelings for the transfer student, who I don’t think will be staying by the end of the movie.

I was also seriously waiting to see some not so cute girls for this movie when it was first announced because that’s the way is usually is for adult book adaptations. And so pleasantly surprised to see the cast and better yet still, that Tsukina is in it! I mean, she disappears for all this years without a trace since her SKE days and then suddenly BAM! Not complaining at all though.

The two leads look familiar too but for the life of me, I just can’t place them. It looks to me too that the transfer student brings with her a can of worms that changes the involved girls, especially the two friends and the club they are in, which I think is the drama club, maybe…

With all said and done, I am so very much looking forward to this movie to come out on DVD. I have a feeling too that it’s actually going to be better than it should be when you think of the source material for it. I can’t wait for a year for the DVDs…-_-
