I like how everyone else is at 90 while Yukirin is like, NOPE, I am aiming for the stars

Okay, my worries flew out the window after I watched this new Team B stage. The biggest worry I had was that the chemistry would simply fail and everyone would be all over the place but then I realised…These girls have already performed many time together before so they aren’t really strangers to one another. Many of those Team 4 graduates were performing in old Team B stages while they were still KKS so they are kind of used to working with other members.

Also after the first shuffle, it would not be that hard for the girls to get it together and move on now since they have lived through that before. So I was really worried for nothing, maybe the new new girls like Milky and Anna who are from outside AKB are the ones that need some careful treatment. It can’t be easy for them to be learning both new stages for their respective teams then those of Team B at the same time. But since KKS do this all the time, I guess to them it shouldn’t be that out there, though this is one of the reasons I really respect KKS.

Getting back on topic, as we know each new Team has more than 16 members but 16 is the official performing number so a few were actually missing in this first performance. Fear not though, knowing how rarely Yukirin, Kojiharu and other popular members also not to forget the foreigners Anna and Milky, there will be plenty of time for the others to perform as well.

The 16 present on this first day were;

 
 

Kashiwagi Yuki

But of course! If the first day had happened without her, I would be like, sitting there blankly staring and un-enthusiastically waving my arms around and breathing ‘yay’ in cheer!

Yukirin was another worry I had. I thought she would go back to her SRS business persona she had in the earlier B stages but to my pleasant she kept her chirpy and free personality she has grown thanks to Mayuyu’s childish behaviour when around her. I love that Yukirin who seems so free when she is on stage. In this performance she was like that, still alive, still winding the dance moves to make them more fun and at ease. It was like she was performing B-Oshii all the damn time!

While others may have been pretty nervous and trying not to mess up, Yukirin was loitering all over the place like a mid-fielder on a soccer team. That playfulness is what made team B stand out from the others and why they are the closest to the fans. It was really great to see that Yukirin still remembered that even though this was a new team and new things needed to be brought out.

I guess she decided to leave the new inventions to the others since they were the ones moving while she was stagnant in these team shuffles so she figured that while they changed their catch-phrases and seemed to have new personality ambitions, she would bare the responsibility of keeping the old spirit around. She still uses her old catch phrase, still acts the same but she did say that she too hopes to give us a different side of her in this new team so I will be looking forward to it.

Also as usual she seems to be the target of jokes for some reason. Oh well, more camera time for her so no complaints from me.

Ishida Anna

Dear Readers, there is something about Anna that just grabbed me from out of no frikkin where! I mean I have seen her plenty of times before in SKE shows and LODs but frankly she never really appealed to me that much. In fact even when the new Team was announced I just took notice of the name and that was that. No excitement at all in seeing her.

But the I watch this Waiting Stage and it’s like I was hit by a bus! There I was sitting in my King chair and wondering why she just doesn’t quit SKE and forever join Team B! No, seriously, she so belongs to team B that no one seeing her who doesn’t know the truth would not think that that she has been there since the very beginning with Yukirin.

And I don’t know really what was going on but almost every cap of Yukirin I took she was right there next to her (So was Minarun). Apart from the other…accident, I felt as if she was placed there so that our mother Teresa could take good care of her.

Then there is that Shizumu no Taiyou performance of the Gods!

Da~mn.

She is definitely the surprise hit for me in this new team B.

Watanabe Miyuki

Speaking of transfer students, we have the one from NaMBa – the Milky, though this day she wants you to refer to her as Yaruki! It’s no secret that Milky really is a great dancer, has a great personality, Top tier in the looks department, and of course she comes set at WIN default by simply being from Osaka.

I really am feeling for her and Anna with the amount of work they must be putting in right now. I am only surprised they are not falling into hospital beds like Jurina. They must be smashed!

Any way Milky seems to have created this alluring image in team B that looks to all like a trap it is. If this were a harem h-game and she the lead, by now she should have bedded almost two thirds of the team…seriously.

I miss Mayuyu and I was so hoping Milky would take over as Yukirin’s baby but there are so many options right now that I just aren’t sure anymore. Anna seems to be up for that challenge and then there is Minarun, the Yukirin fangirl who seems as if attached to her arm and then there is Paruru whom management without remorse, gave her Mayuyu’s position…all of it!

Minegishi Minami

Miichannnnnnnnnnn

Welcome to Team B! We welcome you with wide open arms Miichan!

First thing one will notice is that Miichan’s MC skills already being employed in this new stage. Now not to say that old team B sucked at MC because they had Myao and Natsuki there who are no douches themselves.

But Miichan is in a class of her own and so the members took great use of that. Now not to say that she had all the talking to do because this new Team B, as I said I was worrying for nothing, seems to already be getting along just fine as everyone talked so freely that you could just feel that Bond (with a capital B) that one comes to expect from any team B.

Really, B stands for bonds and they were there!

Miichan really was a great addition to this team. She doesn’t get to show it but she really is quite talented. Her performance of SKE’s fast dance entry with Ume-chan and Haachan was sure to have earned her some more respect points.

Umeda Ayaka (Banchou)

Still not too sure about Ume-chan as Cap but I give up on worrying about that. If all fails, there is Minarun and Yukirin to help out. Three Caps surely can do better than one.

Ume-chan’s K spirit (And Miichan’s ) came out easily when they conquered that SKE song and it showed me how this new Team B might be affected by her as leader because like it or not, the members will pick up on her personality…Things just work like that.

Hopefully she too will soften some to fit the B image and not be sharp till the end of time and thus change Team B’s softness.

But she seems to be doing a first good job and it’s not like the members are still green-bottomed so it shouldn’t be that hard to lead them.

Katayama Haruka

Welcome back home Haachan. We terribly missed you…-_-

Please take that sexy personality back to Team A and leave it there. Here in B, first and fore-most we do cute, the sexy comes out at night when it’s needed (in sub-unit songs) not all the time. Have you forgotten that already? Perhaps a lesson in the old ways is in order…Yukirin…

Haachan doesn’t look all that different from when she left. Did she just change back to her old Team B look or was she always like this? Team A fans, please help me out here…

Haachan made the hole left by Mayuyu’s leave a bit less painful though so I am very grateful to her about that. The Team feels less foreign that I thought it would be.

Kojima Haruna

Ah Kojiharu…Thank you for bringing your hotness to our Team.

Seriously, as much as I loved the 2nd team B, it was lacking in terms of sexiness and made it all that embarrassing watching my Oshii steal all the gazes but with the arrival of Kojiharu, Milky, Ume-chan and Anna (Seriously, that girl give me the chills) the gazes will loose their intensity now on my Yukirin as they focus on the others too.

Poor Kojiharu wanted to go with twin-tails for the cute image but things went horribly wrong so she settled for a messy ponytail. Either way I am glad for the accident because twin-tail Kojiharu is one I do not want!

Her sub unit of Renacchi and Reinyan challenged Dakishimetara and damn….Kojiharu totally decimated it! Reinyan and Renacchi didn’t look half bad either but where as they gave off a certain fetish vibe, Kojiharu was right at home there. It came before Shizumu no taiyou so I was surprised that Yukirin didn’t handle that but the reason more than made up for the disappointment.

Oba Mina

Minarun!!!!!!

Minarun, me thinks, is the one that benefited most from this move and stage.

It’s no secret that she is a super Yukirin fangirl so not only did she get to join her Team but she is in the same sub unit with her. Add to the fact that they performed Yukrin’s Team Surprise song and she must really have been in heaven.

I was hoping for the end chat to be between her and Yukirin so I can see her go all goey inside at the loveliness of everything but it was not to be. We instead got the New Cap and Old Cap talk, which makes sense but all it did was make me miss those lovely Mayuki End talks.

Takeuchi Miyu

TakeMiyu is the other Team 4 member and I have to say that new B really struck gold when it comes to VOICE! Team B now has the power when it comes to the best singers because not only do they have TakeMiyu (who is not only great at singing but dancing as well) but they got Iwasa Misaki, yes THAT IWASA and her almost rival Nakamura Mariko! Not to mention that they have Yukirin herself!

Talk about overkill!

Okay, I admit that my everything was blurred by Mayuyu’s leave but the new Team B turns out to be more AWESOME the more I think of things.

My heart is already melting to the new Team and am finding myself getting attached.

Shimazaki Haruka

It’s not that I don’t like Paruru…seriously, it’s not! I like her…dimples and…and…Um other stuff…

Any way, I kinda like her but why, God, why, did management not take her to team A instead if she is that great to be the future Ace! I thought they put all their favourites in A, was I wrong?!

Seriously, Paruru has that A feel to her that it drives me bonkers tying to understand why they did not move her thee instead.

But nooooo, they had to put her here and not only did they oh so obviously make her centre but they gave her Mayuyu’s spot!

There is this scene in Shonichi (B3) where Mayuyu and Yukirin kinda look into each others eyes and while it drove me nutters before, here with Paruru I was like…why couldn’t it have been Milky or Anna or anyone!

And Yukirin seems to be giving her these Mayuyu-eyes like she is pretending to care for her as she did Mayuyu…Okay, maybe she isn’t pretending but still…it hurt!

Any way, Paruru is Paruru, nothing major t note here, well for me that is.

Ichikawa Miori

Another team 4 girl is Fresh lemon, who actually shocked us by saying that now that she is in team B, she is trashing her fresh Lemon persona!

Everyone was le gasp!

But of course it was a complete lie. She wants to become fresh as a lemon after all.

it good that she is in B, with Minarun. I can now have a normal couple at least in the new Team. They sure have work cut out for them to steal Mayuki’s thunder but they can do it…

with photos like these they…Oh wait! That second photo is…Oh never mind. Some excitement is in order and what better way than a rival!

Kato Rena

Which brings me to yet another Team 4 member.

Damn, is it me or does it seem like Team B got most of the 4s? Oh well, better variety and freshness for us I guess.

First of all I don’t really understand the hate that seems to surround this girl. Is it jealousy of her strange beauty or simple hate? I don’t get it. Is there some secret video about her that destroys this image I have of her that is all kinds of wonderful that I don’t know about?!

Meh, I will welcome her to the new Team B with wide open arms. She may have failed the push effect but I can’t help but notice her over here.

I have to confess too that my eyes kept wandering over in her direction during Dakishimetara even with the great presence of Kojiharu.

Am I just bad? May be~

Yamauchi Suzuran

The last of Team 4, but most definitely not the least is none other than RanRan herself.

I don’t know if it was thanks to having just seen a new side of her in this week’s AKBINGO but I was kind of pulled to RanRan here.

Now I have watched 41 a few times and I know she is no push over in quality of performance but I noticed her way more than I should have here.

Seriously, this New B is starting to scare me a little. I mean I wasn’t that appealed to the old B when I first watched B5. But this new B is….

Fujie Reina

I don’t really know why but I can’t help but see Reinyan as a cuter, and loli-er version of Chikarina. Well, those two do kind of go well together so it can’t be helped.

Having gone through all teams now, I hope she brought all her experiences with her and pray that she did not close off her heart because of all the changes and still has room for the new B mates!

I am already shipping her with Harukyan BTW

Ishida Haruka

Speaking of the Devil,

Harukyan is still the spitfire of the team. I really respect her for not changing herself due to the outside view of her. I was worried that she would change herself when talk of how rude she was started circling within the community but having died down long ago and Harukyan still being herself is very heart-warming.

It’s not like it affected her popularity any though. She still gets lots of outside projects. It might just be the management’s doing though.

I for one love her fiery spirit and hot mouth.

Never change Harukyan, never allow yourself to be changed by outside influences.

Iwasa Misaki

And to wrap up the attendees of this first day of New Team B, we have the best voice in all of AKB (according to the voting) in the form of this girl.

Having already gotten herself a solo, not because of popularity but because of her talent, Mikki is the best voice and she is now part of team B. Team B that has Mariko and Miyu as well who are in the God Tier level of Voice ranking. The only one that belongs to this group that isn’t in B is Matsuda Yuka.

So I guess B already won in one aspect!

I doubt though that management or AkiP will make good use of these talented girls because let’s be honest, there just can’t be three or four solo units in a stage!

But we can dream! Imagine B6 having a Yukirin solo (BALLAD), a Mikki and Mariko solo (ENKA) and a TakeMiyu solo (NEW AGE)!

New records would be broke I tell ya! Request hour 2014 would be like Top 10 having 4 or 5 B entries!

Speaking of which I really dig the new version of Team B Oshii!
