Getting to the point of this post…I am having a common problem that all new fans have with a group and that is that I just can’t differentiate some of them from each other and it’s that harder with KPOP than Japan. I guess it’s because I am used to Japanese girls but I just can’t tell the difference between Korean Girl idols that easily, unless they have special physical features that make them stand out some! And yes, the example is Ji-yeon’s eyes (God damn those eyes!) But it’s not just her. I am applying this formula to the rest of the girls in T-ara and so far, these are all I know…

Thanks to her unique (Fox Goddess) eyes, she can easily be recognised no matter which PV she is in! Totally my most known member of T-ara that in fact got me interested in the group in the first place.
Now I know how all those AKB fans that were lured by Acchan feel…I think
By the way, while I am on Ji-Yeon, I have yet to decide whom I ship her with most – IU or Dani? I can’t decide yet!
Before you bash, remember I am new to T-ara, mkay? And I don’t know IU all that much either, just started watching heroes (currently on episode 10) but they don’t look all that…erm…Mayuki-like friendly. They actually seem like the normal friends which is kind of a let down from all rave I heard from Ji-Ubers (Ji-yeon/IU shippers).
But like I said, still knew and not really in decision making position yet so I will give it time!
Moving on…
2. Bo Ram
Other than the hard fact that she has to be the little-lest Korean idol ever! (LOLLLLLLLLLLLLL) She looks like a character right out of a Final Fantasy world!
Seriously look at that face!
And her name stands out too so those are quite a few little things that make me spot her right out of the bunch!

And of course we have the newest addition to T-ara, the 14 yr old loli whose eyebrows stand out the most to me.

Hey I’ve been a fan of ur blog for a long time now and I thought I could give u a hand.
The doll is soyeon idk really about her cause I barely see her on variety show except oh my school. The tomochin clone is hyomin mmm she is one of the more popular members and u can learn more about her on invincible youth (which lead me to become a fan of t-ara myself) she loves cameras and has a bunch of her own which she takes pic of herself and members. The other two I don’t know much about but the Coolaid has a twin sister tht is in the same company but in another group. The clon of te tomochin clone i just know her name is qri. Hope this helps even tho it’s not much.

The Doll is SoYeon, the Tomochin Clone (who doesn\’t really looks like Tomochin… She is more perfect… And dorky) is Hyomin (pink haired girl in the mv of Day by Day *_*), the Clone of Tomochin Clone is Qri and the Other Coolaid is Hwa Young !

Yeah, I probably will receive a lot of stones from T-ara fans about the Tomochin reference (I already have actually >.<) but I can't help it, me being an AKB-fag and totally new to T-ara.

Dani is the blind girl with Hyomin in Day by Day video, she has yet to made an appearance on stage afaik. That no.3 one is Areum, another new addition but she seems to have a nice vocal and can rap too.

No Dani is not Areum, LOL.
Yeah they kept adding members. Don’t know what Dani’s role in the group yet but some say she’s a rapper (unneeded imo, especially since there is already Hwayoung and the two all rounder Eunjung and Hyomin).

Waahh I love how one of my favorite bloggers has started to love one of my favorite k-pop groups! I really do think you should watch Invincible Youth (Season 1) as that is how I got into T-Ara (You will love Hyomin, that weirdo >v<). I strongly recommend watching it and hey, you might end up liking a lot of the other girls on the show too ^^ (it really expanded my interest in girl groups)!

Ahhh… T-ara. The queens of my K-Pop heart. XD I can definitely understand the attraction to Jiyeon; I felt the same pull when I chanced upon her a year ago. Those eyes are simply hypnotic! She goes from being cute (Bo Peep Bo Peep) to sexy (I Go Crazy because of you) to badass bitch (Day by Day) to hot guy (Cry Cry) in a blink of an eye. Others already identified the members, but just to add: Qri (aka the clone of the Tomochin clone) is mostly recognizable with that mole on her nose, and Hwayoung (aka the other coolaid) is the giant.
As for OTPs, in T-ara it’s actually an OT3: Jiyeon/Eunjung/Hyomin. From supposedly being 5 (pre-debut), to 6, to 7, to 8 and eventually 9 members (this December), these 3 have been there right from the start hence the super closeness with each other. Jiyeon and IU, on the other hand, are more like BFFs than anything else. They’re super adorable in Heroes!
P.S. If you have time, I recommend watching Jungle Fish 2. It’s a short high school drama with a darker twist (suicide, teen pregnancy, cyber bullying, etc). Kinda depressing but it’s one of Jiyeon’s best dramas, imo. 😀

btw, Jiyeon was missing Don’t Leave performance because she apparently injured her nose a day or two before the recording. She kinda has the comeback curse – last year’s Roly Poly she was painfully limping through a performance because of an injured ligament; early this year’s Lovey Dovey she almost fainted on stage because of exhaustion (she fainted right after); and now with Day by day she injured her nose. That, and she’s actually the most overworked member of the group (together with Eunjung). =/

Haha, things like that spread over the fandom like wildfire. K-pop fans are scarily fast in transmitting news out. It’s all over tumblr in a matter of minutes, I swear. (And the injuries are so noticeable because she’s the default camera focus and it’s like watching and waiting for her to drop dead on stage whenever it happens. =/)
Kinda makes me wish the same thing happens with AKB, but the 48-fandom in tumblr is small. News (and gossip) trickle so slowly.
Watch Heroes first! It gives great insight into her adorable and playful personality. She plays the bitchy character (to perfection) in most dramas, and it’s so easy for that first impression to stick.
Also, Dani won’t be debuting until this December; we have to wait ’til then for some jailbait action. Too bad the members all live separately now. Just imagine how things would be if they’re all still living in one dorm when Dani comes along. Oh yeah!
