Oh
My
God!
“…”
I’m sorry but…
What?
This wasn’t in my plans!
~
I was planning on getting bored while I caught up to what I missed and having been disappoint with Last Exile – Like that wasn’t expected – we are here to be disappointed after all, then came time for Milky Holmes II.
Needless to say, having been entertained, there is no denying that, I was disappointed already in the yuri department in the few episodes of Milky Holmes 2 that I had seen so far. So you can imagine the state of mind I was in when I went to finish up the last 5 episodes.
Oh boy am I ever glad that my expectations were already on the low!
It was kind of painful waiting for kaitou Sherlock and Arsene to get it on a la dat image but alas, it didn’t happen. But despite the lack of yuri, I was kept going with the jokes and the action! Arsene of course was over-kill as always. Not only did she form a fist in space with her illusion toys but she travelled – no, travel is not the word. She went – no, that is wrong too since she didn’t actually move. Any way, she changed places from England where she was at the moment and back to Japan by kicking the earth so that it sped up it’s slow-ass rotation around itself and she soon was in Japan!
Like, what?!!
Ahem..Any ways that was episode 11. The last episode (12) is where the party was at!
May I have this dance?
Erm…Okay
(Damn fingers!)
O LORD ‘o Yuri! BEST BALL EVER!
I expected a lot of things from Milky Holmes but that dance was not one of them! The nipple guy was tolerable, Trap Henrietta was coma-inducing but this?!!!
I mean, hello? Even yuri titles don’t have an ending like this episode! Nope! At least I haven’t seen one! Milky Holmes was not supposed to be that and it had absolutely no obligations whatsoever to charm us with yuri but they went and licked reason to the curb and decided to deliver this episode!
Is Madoka in Heaven or what…
Things started early with Henrietta acting all kinds of not herself by actually seeking out contact with the Holmes whereas she was brushing them off and quite pissed at them throughout the early parts of the season. did she feel lonely when Sherlock and Co. no longer bothered her with attention about everything? Funny thing is that Sherlock and Co. were also out looking for their Henrietta – who was trying her best to grab their attention but always dismissed her.
Then comes news of the ball!
“…”
I still can’t believe that actually happened!
Lots of contestants but the animators did not beat around the bush by taking focus away from Sherlock and Henrietta by focusing on others – nope! It was all these two throughout the dance. Actually, we didn’t get to see anybody else dance. That had to be the fastest elimination contest I haven’t never seen!
I have watched this episode 4 times and the first two I couldn’t even close my mouth during the dance – really though, how could I have when I wasn’t paying attention to anything else?
Sherlock and Henrietta were simply mesmerising on that dance floor.
Forget that image, this was over 9000 times better!
More so with the fact that there was no pretending (and by that I am talking about you Hyouka-stupid-ED-tease and Nyaruko) but it was serious. Then the end the masked figure reveals herself to be Henrietta and I bet someone felt their heart leap from their DFC!
There is no doubting that Milky Holmes and Henrietta’s relationship was changed by the end of the second season and mostly due to Henrietta’s own changes.
I sure hope to God there is a third season! Dear Japan, please make it happen!
Any ways, awesome episode is awesome!
Now THAT is a GOOD END!

OG again. This post reminded me to finish MH2 and it was worth it. Not for this episode, oh no, but for the series as a whole. This last episode was merely the cherry on top of a an already delicious sundae of OG quality hilarity ensuing insanity.

Yeah, Milky was such a rare piece of entertainment.
It’s like the definition of what all new fans expect in an anime, insane hilarity!

I already miss Cordelia. I applaud the genius behind her inception.
I beg the otaku mainstream of Japan, put aside your Nyaruko-san fetish (Even though I’m obviously on Team Kuuko) and spend your hard earned cash on Milky Holmes Blu-Rays!
I may not be as big of a fan of Sherlock and Henrietta, but more screen time of their developing relationship is welcome.

Probably some disguise toys at work too, not that Milky Holmes are the brightest of a bunch >.<

Hey, have you seen the summer OVA?
Apparently they did a Majisuka Gakuen parody.

WOOOOOOT?
Fukkin where?!!!

Sorry for the late reply!! Haha~
Watch the summer OVAs of Milky Holmes. The whole special is just a ridiculous episode about Kokoro quitting her job as a detective to be an idol. The staff seems to be AKB fans since they did this whole Majisuka Gakuen segment. XD
Here’s some screenies~
