NMB48 Ladies and gentlemen….
So, some of us have heard some rumours of how Saya-nee, the whole of NMB48 really, is dominating Google+, right? Well I decided to go tumblr-ing to see if this were true and I have to say that I am going to lurk some more over there.
So much goodness in the few weeks I was away!
Damn, I am liking NMB48 more and more. They are already my favourite platoon as is so if this continues…
I dunno know, I just don’t know.
PS: I might just as well mention it here but my NMB48 Oshii – Ma~chun (Ogasawara Mayu) has such an epic Osaka spirit (That of entertainment) that she entered Japan’s yearly competition between comedians known as M1 Grand Prix and the last time I checked, she had gone through to third round which meant passing that puts her in semi-final!

THIS IS WHY I LOVE NMB48!!!!!!
Seriously, if Sae was in NMB they would officially be my favourite 48 group. Too bad, she’s in AKB, so they still steal the top spot, but NMB are definitely second. Though I do love SKE too; the Matsuis are too good to get over (though they’re practically in AKB).
And Ma-chun got into the semi-finals?! I heard when she got through to the third round, but wow – I’m impressed! Congratz!!!

I haven’t heard of Maa-chun’s progress since then too so I am not sure. I will look into it.

IIRC, Maachun unfortunately didn’t make it pass the third round. Still, just for Maachun to make it that far is pretty impressive. She really is pure comedy gold.

I think all (almost) of NMB member auditioned for R-1 grand prix (not M-1, M-1 is for combi, R-1 is for individuals, and M-1 was stopped, its last grand prix is 2 years ago)…
The last year R-1 champion is Sakuma Kazuyuki, the guy who once (twice) came to akbingo for one of the mucchaburi dodgeball punishment (the one where you have to hold your laughs, and if cannot you will be shot with creams, i think XD)
Only maachun and gishino passed the first round…
Then only maachun that went into the 2nd and 3rd round…
She didn’t qualified for the semifinal…
well, even if she did, it’s going to be a very hard competition for her…
Almost all of her opponents are veterans and super famous comedians…

my friend went to her 2nd round competition…
she said maachun was very entertaining…
but others were just too good she said… ha3…

If only she had more time dedicated to that.
Any way it’s fine this way. Wouldn’t want for her success as a comedian to rip her away from the Idol business…^^
