But wait, that is not even scratching the surface! The real kicker comes in the form of a unexpected HomuHomu character revelation that I was awaiting like…forever…Where we get the chance to see all the goner characters a couple of more times!
Mamiiiiii——and Puella Madoka come to emo HomuHomu’s rescue when she is cornered by a witch!

Puella Magus Madoka Magica 10 is the single best episode in the whole of anime history! My anime history (And I have watched a lot of anime!) In fact if we get a HomuMado awesome END, this is gonna be at the top of my anime list!

I still can’t believe this episode!

Then as if to kill us with perfection, the animators go and twist that sickily HomuHomu into some BADASS fictitious breed of Arnold/Sly/Depp/Jolie/Weaver/ and Yukirin who has Time HAX abilities and very HOT for some Madoka natural CAKE, within the span of a simple 22 min!

ZA WARUDO!

Like…WHAAAAAAAAA!!!

But wait, I am not even done yet.

Then they go and shatter my Yuri Goggles that I had on a high setting only to  get a shitload of HomuMado godtext(way past subtext)

There is a God and he is made up of these great 20 people at SHAFT!

BUT.

As we all know, with great happiness come with an even greater despair! And Goddess did we despair!

The greatest source of despair is the very fact that it was actually HomuHomu who started this road down to the already suffered-through despair of the previous episodes, by wishing to save Madoka in the Original Time-line. The time line that now seems to have the good end so far. But of course there was no way for HomuHomu to know that and I really doubt that Incubator would’ve let it end like that!

Suffice to say, things went downer hill from there on. Homura having upgraded from her wish to Madoka’s wish, no longer had the choice of giving up but to try as many times as it took to fulfill that request of Madoka’s and hers as well.

Within the span of 22min, we have witnessed four times the deaths of characters that among them included even the damn heroine of the show Madoka herself!

Like…*snap*….

One minute you are rejoicing the return of those dearly missed characters, only to see them get put down all over again and each time it is no less painful to witness!

For Mami,
First, she was down’d by mini-boss witch Walpurgisnacht.
Then after snapping, she was put down, like a dog, by none other than Madoka herself!

For Sayaka,
In all instances, she turned into a witch and obviously had to be put down as well.

For Kyoko,
She only appeared in one of the previous Time-lines but was mentioned in the second. In the one she appeared, she was down’d by Mami (Oh Mami) when she snapped and shot Kyoko’s soul gem into pieces after Sayaka Witch was put down and learned of the horrible fate of puella magi.

For Madoka, yes, she too,
First time she dies like a bro going out in a blaze of glory after she was defeated by mid-boss Witch Walpurgisnacht saving Homura.
Second time, she defeated witch Walpurgisnacht but having used up all her magic she succumbed to the fate of becoming a witch!
The third time, she teamed up with HomuHomu and they defeated witch Walpurgisnacht but having used up a lot of energy, they awaited their fate together to turn into witches. Madoka upon hearing the frustrated declaration of both committing planetary massacre, Madoka revealed a grief seed she had been saving up (for what? I has no idea but I bet it was for the sole reason of saving her waifu) and cleanses HomuHomu’s soul gem then says her dying wish to HomuHomu to “Go back in time and save her stupid self from giving into Inqy-chan’s lies”. She then declares another dying wish to HomuHomu to not let her turn into a witch which of course meant just one thing!

And finally for Homura-chan,
The saying ‘Fate worse than death’ is fully described by episode 10 in the form of one Puella magus Akemi Homura. Serious, I have no idea how this girl’s mind survived after the third loop! Seriously man, having witnessed the madness in all those instances and she is still sane?!!!

The despaired wail of HomuHomu as she pulled the trigger will forever stay in my mind until the end of time (no pun intended)!
Adding in the fact that HomuHomu was the weakest of all the other characters, in character, originally, I would say that the fact that she still has her shit together is pure magic all in its own. Did she bury some of the misery when she healed her illness and eyes? Did the dying wish of Madoka’s and the pure motivation of HomuHomu to carry it out overpower the pain?!

I don’t know dear Readers, I just do not know!

The only things I am sure of are;
After this episode is that this anime has made a name for itself in the history books for sure. No matter what happens in the rest of the episodes, no anime stands in the way between Madoka Magica and the throne of Anime.

On that throne will sit one character that transformed from a weakling both physically and mentally and into a character of epic proportions! A character that has ever raided a Yakuza locker room filled with said meanies to steal pistols, shotguns, machine guns, grenades and C4 in anime history. A character that explained in depth, with practical application and all, the meaning of the saying ‘blow job’ when she dumped a bomb (she made herself at home) down a witch’s vagoo. *For the love of all that is Holy*. And did I mention this character has the single most badass ability ever known as ‘Time Manipulation’? I did?! Well it needs to be said again, duh!

Seriously guys, this anime is just…out there! I don’t remember feeling like this before! The feelings this anime induces in people needs a new name!

New feelings way stronger than ‘Love’ or ‘Hate’ have just been discovered!

Find a name for them internet. I believe in you!

And I hereby declare Akemi Homura the Lord of the Second Dimension!
