The Show

So, this week on AKB48 Show ep19, apart from Takamina appearing on her segment, where she was actually a guest this time, the show was dominated by Nogizaka46. Indeed just like Cap said to Ikoma-kun in the opening sequence, it totally was the Nogizaka46 Show.

Sadly we only got that segment with Iku-chan, Hashimoto and Mai and the one with Takamina. The rest was song time. Actually maybe I shouldn’t be sad since they performed two of my Top 3 Nogizaka46 songs – Kimi no nawa kibou and Seifuku no mannequin.

To make things ever that much better, Kimi no nawa kibou, my favourite Nogizaka46 song, they did the LIVE version I love so much with Iku-chan on the piano! Man that song gives me eargasms every time I hear it especially LIVE. They really need to release this acoustic version of this song on the album (when it gets released) because it’s just too good to not be professionally recorded for infinity pleasure of listening!

Really great choice choosing Seifuku no mannequin as the other song too. I love that song and how it shows off the other side of the girls. Well, almost all songs so far have shown different sides of the girls but since I am a cool-factor freak, well, SnM takes the cake. And this is personal but seeing Minami-chan again really puts a huge smile on my face. I miss her in senbatsu.

I would have preferred if they did Baretta or Tsuki no Ookisa instead of Sonna baka na but then again, those two songs are also cool and we already have SnM so I understand why they chose to go with this fun song instead. Yeah, the show was awesome on the music side of things.

On the show side of things, Takamina and Sakurai of course talked about the leadership thing and Takamina asked about what we are all curious about, the Centre switcharoos they are doing now for every other single. And of course she asks about how Ikoma must feel about that but she also sees the change in her from when she was the Centre to now.

I too can see it, the change I mean. She is more fun now than when she was the Centre. Of course Ikoma is still the Face of Nogizaka even if she is no longer the Centre. I wonder how long will we have to wait until she centres another single. Yeah, can’t help but come to the conclusion that she is still the best choice for Centre. Oh well, who knows, maybe there will be someone who will be fit for the role more than her. Not in the current members though. Maybe in the 3rd Gen? Usually things get complicated around the 3rd Gen entry. On the other hand, this means we might yet get to see a Iku-chan centre as well (she was looking smashin in that suit, huh?) ^^ or maybe a Minami Centre, you never know (when she completes her diet mission).

Any who, I hope there is another Nogizaka Show episode coming our way. I want more awesome Nogizaka songs.

Nogizaka is taking no prisoners people for they are putting on even more pressure but upping the awesomeness of their TV shows! This week’s Nogizakatte Doko takes all kinds of serious cake with its theme alone!

That’s right, Valentine’s is just right around the corner so what better way than to make an episode of gift exchanging? No no, don’t cry yet as you remember back to last year’s episode. Nope, this time it’s totally different and all kinds of awesome. Not only are the girls exchanging gifts, but they are between each other, No Himura cock-blocking this time. Better yet, they have to accompany the exchanging with a confession. Like, is that GOLD or what?! I mean, I gotta confess but though I had an inkling of what might happen from last episode’s preview, I did not think they would actually go and do it but they so did! All hail Nogizaka!

And to make things all that much more awesome, we only got through 8 of the sixteen girls, meaning that the next episode is a continuation of this awesomeness! But unlike AKB that will make you wait for the best until the very last, Nogizaka balances things out pretty well by starting with just not anybody but Wakatsuki-sama herself!

Let the drama commence!

And Nogizaka is at it again! New single means new concept meaning new formation, new centre and new faces! I don’t know about you guys but I really love this concept NGZ is going for these days. Even though I know so little to none of some of the new faces, I am still excited overall with the formation. This is the power of change! I am no longer even bothered by the fact that Ikoma hasn’t centred a single since forever or that Hori only had a one time run.

The most important thing is the Centre of course and this time around, it is none other than the beauty herself Nanase taking on the challenge and having her chance at domination! She is flanked by Shiraishi and Hashimoto (Again?!  I thought we were about change!).

Mein Gott!

Step aside AKBINGO! You time is over. There is a new BINGO in town and is totally slaying you! This second episode of the second season was just out there! I felt like I was watching the Idoling!!! show instead, or better yet, like I went back in time and I am watching the days gone AKBINGO that used to be good!

If I’m not mistaken, AKBINGO too actually did this segment and it might just be me I don’t remember it being this AWESOME! Well, maybe it had something to do with my innocence back then compared to now in that I might have missed all these awesome perspectives. Well, nothing to do but re-watch them again I guess though I a have a feeling they will not be that much more blood-pumping than this.

There is just something about blinded girls touching other girls that should so be added to the 10 commandments as never to do things ever! I don’t know guys, it’s like there is this beast that is unleashed when the blinds go on, or maybe the beast is within us the viewers, either way, this fetish should be banned!

My Feelings throughout the episode!

Seriously though, just when I thought, Nah, they are gonna cut that part, the camera keeps rolling and my grin gets wider by the millisecond I watch! The second Gens were the real dangerous ones! I mean MisaMisa is no secret and I swear  I thought she was going to plant a deep one on Kawago for a second there, and Kawago herself is already out of the closet so I was also expecting that. Kind of disappointed with Mai though. I thought she would give us something seeing as the one she was feeling up was Sayuri but alas. I guess she is more into selfies (if you watch tte doko? you know what I mean).

Second Gen on the other hand were on fire! Somehow how they all seemed to have a thing for thighs, especially the upper part! Skirts were being flipped, boobs were being grabbed, I tell ya guys, those 2nd Gen are ones to look out for. Even my innocent image of Mori started to shatter after this episode.

Speaking of Mori, it seems she runs 50m in 6 seconds!!! Like, if that is real, isn’t she the fasted girl even in AKB?! 6 seconds!  In contrast, Manatsu-senpai runs 50m in 13.6 seconds LOL. And Mori is not the only sporty girl in 2nd Gen it seems. There is Yada Risako on the basketball team and that little match she had with Hashimoto was fun to watch. Then there is Yonetoku Kyouka who apparently has been to the junior Olympics in swimming!

Hmm, looks like I am going to have to pay more attention to these 2nd gens, especially if they have a 3rd coming of Meetan in the form of Shinuchi Mai. I have a feeling that if she was feeling up someone else other than Mori, we would have been in for the night of our lives if she did that much to the Ace of 2nd Gen and current Nogizaka Centre.
