They’ve been here for a long time but I always find myself surprised at how Mayuyu completely changes when with Yukirin.
They are very rare nowadays as we only get to see them when the whole Family gets together but they still show why they are on the top.
I really can’t wait for the coming concerts.

Oh how I missed you Yukrin! Yes, I know she’s been here all along with Mielino but that meant she was away from stages all this time. Now though she is back and as always I can’t get over how different she is when she is here in AKB as opposed to when she is away on solo works. I don’t know if it’s just me but when she is with AKB she seems to have gotten younger both physically and emotionally.
And of course we have seen how changed she is from the B5 times and now. Somehow she puts the life in stages with her strange personality she pulled out of a magic hat since these new shuffles. I have to confess I love this ‘free’ Yukirin a lot! I mean even before, towards the end of B5, she was starting to come out of her shell but that was usually reserved to when she was with Mayuyu (and Mayuyu vice versa) but now it seems to me that she is distributing her heart all over each member. Interestingly as others have already mentioned, she is more of a Leader now than when she was THE leader.
I guess though that someone has to be, what with Ume-chan having Miyu on her brain all the time and Miichan having been demoted to KKS.
Despite being away for weeks, it doesn’t seem like she was gone that long. She still puts the spirit into things and still is the butt of all the members’ hits. Even Milky went so far as to bring out her Black side and pit it against the Black queen herself.
Note to self: Best way to get Yukrin attention is to go all Black on her ass!

Of course we fans of her already knew this.
But from the latest episode of Kousagi Doujo, that actually touches upon THE AKB question – Center/Ace, Yukirin finally makes it possible to save her thoughts for future reference when she tells us what we already knew that to her, being the center is not such a big deal when she knows that her fans will look out for her no matter where she is at (Even though it’s mostly way in the back or the sides).
It’s not because of the reasons that others mostly give for not wanting to be center, like how hard it is and the pressure.
Nope.
It is common knowledge that Yukirin has a brain that puts the cyborg to shame when it comes to memorising them songs and dances so she is more than well equipped. In fact, when she sees how fired up (?) Mayu is now that she is the Center, Yukirin almost wants to try it out once.
Almost.
But she is much more fulfilled to be some that is needed/important to AKB. She knows there are a lot of girls that want/desire that position so much more than she does. So she is more than happy to be one that supports these girls who are or want to be at the top.
Like she natured Mayuyu – The Ace.
