Dear readers, I give to thee the Gurren Lagann we didn’t know we wanted but so needed – KILL la KILL!
I confess that I never watched Tengen Toppa in its completion and though I was forced to suffer through it because of the action, and less romance crap, I had to drop it after DAT MOMENT! It just so wasn’t worth it anymore! And so it was forgotten, even though HE shall never be!
But lo and behold, years later, the people behind that show (minus GAINAX, though one would argue they made GAINAX, bring us a new series which if the Promo is to go by, is the kind of show we want! It’s like a 100% crossover of Cutey Honey and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann!
Cutie Honey brings the yuri while TTGL brings the action! Seriously though, the similarities don’t even just stop at the story but crosses over into the art as well! Matoi Ryuuko, the Main girl, looks so much like a crossover btn Kamina and older Simon, or better known as their baby, it’s like it was intentional! Her uniform is like a re-incarnation of Gurren! Are we really sure this doesn’t take place in TTGL’s future? Or at least AU Future?! I wouldn’t put it passed these crazy awesome guys that use galaxies as weapons!
Then there is Mankanshoku Mako! I can already tell she is going to make this series! That is if it gets boring real quick, she will be the character you wish was on screen at that moment! She promises lots of fun this girl does! And just like all our awesome heroines that have come so far (Canaan, Aika, Layla), Ryuuko has her as that partner that is shipped with her at default! Won’t lie to you guys, I am already shipping these two!
But not to forget, there is another that might just steal that honour of waifu No1! The Student Council President Kiryuuin Satsuki! Girls’ rivalry is very different from guys’ so depending on the tone of this anime, we might end up in their direction. The story is probably about these two at the core.
So interesting! I am so looking forward to this!

So, like, I just saw a new trailer for Madoka Magika Movie 3 – Rebellion AKA Homura’s rebellion against ZA WARUDO!!!!
I have no clue WTF is going on and I am not going to go searching for info to spoil myself before the BDs hit shelves because to hell with that! I want to fully enjoy this movie like I did the series, going in without knowing a thing to get mind-fracked all over again!
Just from this trailer, I know things are gonna get like, quad crazier compared to the series! I mean for frack’s sakes, Mami VS Homurambo?!! And it looks to be a no-bullshit fight too as is the one with Emo-Heroine! This thing is gonna be so cash I tell you guys! Homura the weakest magical girl?! HA HA HA, I can’t wait to see those nay sayers getting their words forced back into their mouths through their behinds!
HomuHomu is so done with this frikkin world and all its batshit! And the only way to save the world from her is for God herself to descend onto the land of man and remind the warier what she used to believe in! I am sensing the gay force is super strong in this one! Forget Space hugging from that last episode because this 3rd movie is gonna deliver the goodies!

Okay, I finally caught up to the latest episode on Sasami-san and God…I can’t believe I was wasting my time on KyoAni when SHAFT was also around. I shouldn’t have doubted them. I mean, it’s not their fault that the monogatari series sucks, (well it doesn’t, but it does) and it also isn’t their fault as well that the bloggers I frequent seem to have a thing against yuri because none of them mentioned anything that would get the masses of the community to seek out the series like rabid dogs!
I didn’t expect anything more from the two but Sasami and Kagami get even better as time goes on. By episode 11 the line between friendship and love was already blurred to me. I really don’t care for romance so it’s not like I am deluding myself into thinking that they are getting into that territory. Actually, maybe I am a sadist but I prefer things to remain in the grey like that. To always push the button but not too far to be boring.
As I said in the first post, I went into this series not for the yuri but for the futaloli Jou-chan. As expected I quickly fell in lust with her thanks to her character. Since I am covering two episodes (10 and 11) I decided to post twice on the same episodes because things would be complicated otherwise. Also I want to define a line that will make sure there is no threesome going on. I absolutely loth threesomes. If I posted everything together this would turn into a threesome and I couldn’t handle that. Not that there is competition because as of episode 11, Sasami clearly lays the facts down of the table. She made her choice.
And so, I am tackling Sasami and Kagami first then I will cover my awesome futaloli.
