So, AKB48’s 24th single, a la 2nd Janken tournament, ‘Ue kara Mariko’ is already upon us.
As many people have already touched upon the main single, I will not go there again, besides, slightly off topic much!
Ships – The daily bread of us yuri lovers.
With a group as big as the 48 family, the possibilities are endless! The fact that everyone seems to be super friendly with everyone, makes things even more complicated. Only those who have been following the groups for a while and watch a lot of their material would not (most usually) suffer the ‘crack ship’ syndrome. Of course even the crazy fans still do ship whoever they choose to even if they are crack and I am no exception.

BuraGeki – Black x Gekikara
kinda started out as a crack ship (in season one) since there was very little (two in fact) unrelated incidents that any other would’ve skipped that, set off my radar. Thank God Akimoto-sensei blurred the lines a little in the second season. Thus BuraGeki made it to the top of my ‘48 ships list.
Just to make things clear, I don’t ship Reki (Rena x Yukirin)…well…It would be a great crack ship and really, one can’t resist two Ojou-samas like themselves but they don’t really do it for me that much. But as Black and Gekikara…Jeezasu Christo!
And so, this post I am going to share my top ships of AKB48, SKE48 and NMB48. Only the favourite since there is no way I can post all of the pairings I ship. That would be madness!
Don’t mind me. I am only stealing a AKB48 show…again!
So just a quicky, there is this somewhat new AKB48 show where members perform short skits called ‘Bimyo’. Currently there are eight episodes available. It’s a really funny show and every segment really forces me to burst into uncontrollable laughter. In episode 08 though, there happened to be a segment with the SKE48 members (I thought this was a AKB48 show!) and Jurina was so good in it that I just had to write about it.
She’s supposed to be Golgo 13, One of the Anime Legends , a deadly assassin that never misses.
