No, seriously, WTF!?! 19cm?! Are you kidding me! My shoe size is waaay above 19cm! How can you bend your body backwards 19cm without falling?! That’s madness! This is madness! Sorcery I tell you!

Everything was so intense! The atmosphere was already bad enough in the way that professional sports events are! But add in the fact that these two are not here battling each other just for the most bendy person in history only next to Dhalsim even though that in and of itself is grand, but this is the era of Idols and it doesn’t get any more intense than between the sisters themselves.

The pride of each other’s group was on the line not to mention the Sousenkyou just around the corner! I mean obviously Akarin isn’t gonna fall in ranks just because she lost (Oops, sorry for no warning spoiler) but I am really hoping that at least Hirata gets to rank just this once!  The girl should be on that list. She has given English lessons, free English lessons. And good ones at that on G+. She had her shine at the Janken last year! She should be on that list! But alas.

If only AKB48 was actually about talent for once! Just think of the possibilities! Just once I wish AKS would make a senbatsu based on talent. There are a lot of girls talented in their own fields but are all buried in the sea that is AKB, over-shadowed by girls that do nothing but look cute, or are Daddy’s girls! Having probably given up a chance to dominate in their special fields to join AKB48 lured by a false star in the sky only to slowly dies away without getting recognition.

Either way, come what may after this, Hirata is now one of my loved girls of the family! Welcome to my Hall of Fame dear Hirata Rina. And I pray that you get to rank this time around in senbatsu. With up to 80 something places available now, surely, surely!

Suda’s loss was un-bearable as well. I think she could have won otherwise but these things happen. I was a victim once as well so I should know. Winning is easy it’s what comes after that is the hard part. The pressure of being a defender of her title not to mention the unknown in that she hadn’t challenged that far before had to have hit hard on her. Thank God we had coach Miichan there to pat her on the head and give her hug.

Man, big sister AKB is scary! NMB and HKT best watch out. tread carefully when you showing off how better you are than your big sister or that member will either have to join them or be beaten by them. It’s an old saying.

Just saying!

Congrats Hirata. You be the new Queen. Can’t believe didn’t know about this talent of hers. Guess she could stand Akarin showing hers off so easily like that.

AKB48 36th Single ‘Labrador Retriever’ Senbatsu

Look at all them mountains protecting Yukirin though ^^

山　- Yama in Yamamoto, Yokoyama and Iriyama means mountain in case anyone did not know ^^ And interestingly taka in Takahashi also means tall as in a high place. Lots of high walls protecting my Goddess there hehehe. Sorry, I just thought that was an interesting little observation.

Any way, Mayuyu is centre, as it should be. She is the darn Face now so it shocks me reading comments about how everyone was shocked by that. Maybe they were expecting le Paruru a la 35th single PV?! I guess no one dared think out of the box and associate that number with the number of senbatsu members, which is 36 too BTW.

And in an Alternate Universe in which I live, this is the A side PV and title of the single. Our senbatsu PV doesn’t suck, all members are in it and it doesn’t seem like a 22min waste of time!

Seriously though, what were they even thinking when making that thing, even having the balls to mass produce it on DVDs?!! 22min and only half of the senbatsu were in it! Oh BTW, two of the Kamis were not in it. And you can guess one of them without even wasting a precious milli second, am I roit? And if that shit about that XXXVI is true, well, let’s just say that AKS is just fucked. Stubbornness is not good for business. Just ask Microsoft.

I really don’t understand how they expect us to waste money on them when they dump on our Oshiis like so! Obviously I am dumping the other other Types and sticking to C only. Too bad it still has to come with that A-side PV…

Now not to say the other PVs sucked. For example Beauty Giraffes’ PV was kind of OK. If only for two little facts in the PV. First one being that thing btn Ayaka and Reina…

Then Ayaka being bullied by Akarin’s gang (What, she is obviously the leader) because she likes girls! Really Akarin, really?! Which might explain why Reina was stealing all the cash. That way they can elope off to another country, maybe Holland where they can marry.

Well, I guess this single succeeded in one thing, it gave us something we rarely see. Members who would never otherwise meet being together. It’s like if some girl from Alaska, met another girl from Taiwan and another girl from Iceland then another from Argentina then another from Burundi.

Like so. Just look at that perfect scene of Riichan and Aoi together! Seriously, I thought I was hit by a truck delivering feelings when I saw that! But that’s just it. The concept was great but the execution sucked so hard! I really do think I would have bought a single copy of this single if it wasn’t for Konjo. I love Yuko-senpai, she was once my AKB Oshii but this is just one hard pill to swallow.

Really, thank the Lord for Konjo. That PV was really brilliant. From the members in it to the music to the actual atmosphere of the PV to the quality. It had everything! I had a grin on my face while watching that PV through and through. On the other hand you don’t want to see my face when I was watching the other PVs I can assure you.

With the shuffles upon us in even less than a day (from 9am tomorrow here) I am kind of actually hoping Yukirin gets moved. I don’t care where just take her out of AKB. If this single taught me anything it is that I do not care where my Oshi is as long as I get to see her. I did not see Yukirin and Rena 18min out of the senbatsu PV run time!

But then again, it seems like the AKS disease is spreading. At least where my Oshii are concerned. Sakura is following in Yukirin’s footsteps when it comes to senbatsu and from what I hear, Maachun is not going to be in the 9th single’s Red and White teams for the second time in a row! Thank God Rena is still okay back in SKE because I don’t know what I should do if she too joined the train. Well, she got a taste of it this AKB single but at lest Yukirin is there to pat her on the back with a ‘I know that feel sistar’ line.

And another thing that Konjo leaves the other PVs out of the water in the time scaling. I think I got to see every single member in the PV where as the others…well…Nothing to be said there. And the girls looked like they were having awesome fun and really, with those members it would be criminal to not give them a fun PV. And I heard someone saying how the concept had been done before.by Team B. I guess they can’t tell the difference btn dodge ball and volley ball!

Seriously though, Chupopo, ChoriAnna, Churi, Aya, Nana, Umechan, Minarun, Karen, Kaotan…Jesus, talk about awesome cast! Individually they are so and so but seeing them together was really exciting for me. 

Meh, I am still wondering what the other PVs are doing on this single. Oh well, I am pretty sure more people love those cutie things than Konjo because that’s how the world works or something and that this single will go down in sales history because Yuko-senpai…maybe but still…

WHY?

It’s been three frikkin months since we were teased with this segment of AKB to XX and they implicitly stated that the continuation would be this week 02/20! And yet, what am I seeing this week? Some boring things about Mayuyu and Riichan, like, are you even kidding me!

You know what, forget this, I am done with this! It probably won’t even happen next month! Why God, why!?!
