Just when I think Nogizaka singles couldn’t possibly get any more awesome, the latest, the 11th, goes and proves me wrong! You know those mini-drama episodes that come with the singles? You know, the ones that previously were solo? Yeah, I got tired of those real fast to the point of not remembering when I last watched them. It was precisely that reason that I decided to watch them now, I mean something must have changed, right?! They couldn’t possibly do the same thing for all those singles!

My curiosity was rewarded grandly! This time they paired up the members (sometimes more than two) for each mini drama and it might just be me but the quality sky-rocketed so high! Seriously, some of these would pass for a full feature length! Like the NGS ship (Wakatsuki-sama and Nanase) one or that Ikoma-kun and Marika one too! Seriously there was some good stuff this time around! And I gotta say it right now, the cuteness of that Asuka/Minami video was out of this world! I am a secret shipper (secret no more I guess) of these two and have been waiting for something of the two and viola! But let’s begin with the one that birthed the title of this post!

AKB48 39th Single ‘Green Flash’ Covers

Bring on the good Japan, my body was ready two weeks ago! I don’t remember staring at CD jackets for as long as I have done these! Apparently there’s already a full course of delicious Green Flash but I have yet to find it! I WILL FIND YOU!!!! In the meantime I am dying for the PV that is rumoured to be dropping tomorrow! Excitement factor over 9000!

Those covers tho >.< Everyone looks so majestic that I just want to join them in tears! And it seems that my suspicions about the levels for Green Flash were spot on. Having watched those Request Hour performance videos to the point of knowing every frame’s contents by heart, I was under the impression that JuriSaku were like Nyanwage’s second in command and by this Type A cover, I think I have been proven right. Yes, Sakura is on Yukirin’s side while Juri-baby on NyanNyan’s.

Oh yes, Nyanwage is the shipping name according to Yukirin herself during the last Yukirin TIME radio broadcast! And where are my Promotional Magazine shoots of Nyanwage dear Japan!??! Only three weeks until release and we have yet to see a thing! Not that I will be ready for those, I just have a feeling I won’t be, but still, tease us or something!

So anyway, I spent all day yesterday trying to keep up with all the vids I was holding off watching because of the stupid exams and I found that there was a lot to get through. Dear Nogizaka, why are you so perfect?! How can you be so good to us fans all the time?! Be it yuri you deliver. Be it Danso you deliver. Be it good music, you always deliver and you always do it so well! Like, how can anyone ask for something more after this great episode that I like to think of as my Christmas present?!  Seriously, with this I am so done with 2014! I am satisfied. Nothing can happen from now until Jan 2nd and I would still be satisfied! DAT Ikoma and Chiharu danso, that intense segment by Nanase, my dream of the comedians as a ship being delivered in the best package possible, that is Kazumin and Noujou…

So, after giving up on waiting I went back to hunting and I finally, finally fell on a site hosting this on GDrive and so I sat down and watched it in one go! Isn’t it strange though that a 2 hour video takes over four hours to watch? I mean I pause every other minute or second depending on who is on screen or on what happened but come on, it can’t take more than 2x times to finish! But that’s the case since I began watching this video at around 3:30 am and it is now almost 8am! Okay, so maybe those 900+ caps are evidence in this testimony but still!

So anyway, I finally watched this LIVE that seems was streamed LIVE (I am waiting for you True HD version) and so it is available to watch and BY THE GODS! First of all that set list! Secondary, Saya was on FIRE! I mean this was her hometown but dear Lord! I can tell you with certainty that neither of you all has seen this Saya before! I am a caps wh&&^% as you know and even I was really struggling trying to get a good cap of this girl! Jesus Christ you would think she was possessed or something by the amount of energy this girl had! If there was any doubts about her in her home town, or around the country to all that watched this LIVE, all those doubts have been thrown to the fire! I will just say that her popularity at the Selection Event was not an illusion guys!

Mayuyu lovers will be terribly disappointed in case they did not know before hand but she was absent for this tour to Hokkaido because of sickness. Maachun though made sure that we did not miss her completely, you will see why in case you don’t know. Sub-Captain Oya-chan also wasn’t there for the first arc before the Introductions. She only came by when the sub-units started and when she did, of course she had to do it with a bang! There is this thing with the stage where a large curtain falls down to separate the stage into two and during the song, it was necessary because of a certain effect! When it fell, Oya wasn’t in the right position and the thing fell over her head! She was lucky it wasn’t the heavy one let me tell you that!
