Yep! Just found my Christmas 2016 song and I couldn’t be happier! What a year! Seriously, what a year! But apparently the goodness is not over yet! After about a year away doing a tour in China, my favourite KPop group is back, with yet another one of their ‘feel-so-good’ songs that they alternate with the catchy dance songs. In addition to this, next month is also seeing the release of my Goddess’ First Tour Blu-ray and her Majisuka Gakuen Play as well! Which by the way, are both already up for pre-order!

The only way I could be happier is if Plain Archives suddenly put up a steel box for The Handmaiden to be purchased before Christmas! Then life would be perfect! Perfect I say! Sadly we have to settle for so good instead!

Anyway back to the topic at hand – I really missed T-ara this past year to the point of thinking they were going to disband soon. But they have pushed on through their harshest of times so that makes me an embarrassment to all the Queens out there. Dear Queens, I am very sorry for doubting our girls for even a second!

With the distance also came the changes in some of the girls. Jiyeon is of course still Jiyeon, anyone can recognise her from anywhere no matter what she does to her looks. Same goes for Boram, that ageless Idol! Seriously, is that girl…excuse me…is that woman really over 30 now?! Impossiburu (Bane voice)! She is still the cutest of the members even now! Hyomin is as sexy as ever and Soyeon is still as wonderfully cool as snow!

No, who surprised me most was our new fearless Leader Qri (taking over after Soyeon). But really, I shouldn’t be surprised by this since I have had difficulty with her and Hyomin when I first got into T-ara when it came to distinguishing them apart. This time too I found myself making judgemental mistakes especially in distant takes. But then the close-up comes and you are bombarded with that cute mole on her nose and you slap yourself for being so silly! Surely it isn’t just me? These two have a certain resemblance to them and more so in Tiamo!

What about the song and PV though? Well, just like most A-sides, I am totally in love with this song! It is one of those gentle songs from them like I said, reminiscent of songs like ‘Don’t Leave’, ‘Good Person’, ‘Day by Day’ or ‘Cry Cry’. I love those types of songs so much. And since this is a Christmas/Holiday song, the PV is simple and short, which it should be. With it we also get a simple dance choreography that is for sure to get some people swaying their hips to it in a few days or less.

What I am left wondering is when we will be getting another story mode mv from them! And with some gayness too! No thanks to the protestors we are never going to get another Dani being devoured and damnit all, I still miss my girl Areum (T_T). But seeing as things seem to stay the same – great looking PVs, catchy choreos and awesome music, I am sure we will be getting one again. Now that the tour is done, I doubt we will have to wait another year for the next come-back.

A month! A Whole freakin month!! Well, to hell with you! And was this even worth waiting for? Was it worth making two separate orders?!

NOOOOOPE!

Okay, I forgive you for giving me a poster I already got since you have no control over that. But to give me the same poster twice?! Pls!

Well, rejoice dear Readers. I know some of you missed the OST so if you want them, I am putting these for order up on Ebay, with the posters of course. I will have to sell them separately since the posters are the same. Or maybe I should do the posters differently as well in case some just want the Soundtracks?

Anyway, I was ready to be disappointed but not like this!! I thought you were done with this stupid shipping lateness YesAsia! It’s been like, years since I last bought from you because your shipping sucked and yet you have not made any progress?!

So, About that aBandOned PB

You thought I had “abandoned” it, didn’t you! Not a chance!

I am still kind of disappointed that there was no such thing as an unrated DVD for the PVs but I have decided to boil it down to false information. What we got was great already and I refuse to be like some people that are just so ungrateful. it would have been so easy to make just another het PV but they went ahead and gave us this, especially in a country that is still very strict on content rating.

So thank you very much Malaysia. This MV is in the top two, if not my favourite yuri MV. I am pretty sure I have listened to the song more than 1000 times already, that is how great the song is in and of itself. Add in the very healthy dose of moving picture yuri, with an element of horror in there (my favourite genre) and this is an MV going straight for my very soul!

Actually scratch that indecision, aBandOned is my Favourite yuri Music Video as of right now!

And so I am very happy now and don’t care much anymore about that non-existent uncensored MV. I will think of this PB as the leau of that. Now the PB is mostly filled with scenes from the MV but there is something about having a physical thing that is all new and different bringing another feeling of appreciation for the already great fandom.

Yeah, I think of this MV’s world as a fandom. it is that good! it managed to create a world with just two 5min videos that to me I might as well have watched a TV series. Actually, why not do that Malaysia? I will even take a web-series! get to it!

[Ahgassi] God is in Heaven, All is Right With the World!

Oh God, the happiness! The happinessssss! I am so very happy dear Readers! Oh my Lord! I love this movie so very much! I love everything about it! Nothing, and I mean nothing, has been a let down for me when it comes to The Handmaiden! Everything is just so perfect! So perfect I decided to but everything related to this movie! I don’t care that I don’t understand the language the good are in (I am looking at you Script Book), and I don’t care how much I need to dish out (bought four versions of the OST just to get the two above posters), this movie deserves everything after making me so damn happy!

And so today here comes the second swag of Ahgassi (the first being the Photobook). And my God, I feel like I just upgraded to  higher plane of happiness than the one I was in before. And I thought I wouldn’t be more happier when it came to this movie! I was so wrong.

I had my doubts! Actually, as I opened up the box, my happiness plummeted quite a bit because there was only one poster holder. I was like – A_ah, I knew it! They would only give me one poster per purchase, doesn’t matter if I bought both the Hideo and Sook-hee version of the CD. It never even occurred to me that there might be more than one poster inside!

There were two posters inside! And you already know which ones!!! Like, how even?!! Let me tell you now, I am never lucky in things like this that require chance! I bought four version (other two from YesAsia) because I wanted to increase my chances! Well dear Readers, it looks like I don’t even need the YesAsia CDs anymore! In one hit, I got all the posters I wanted! In one hit…I don’t believe it!

I can only think this is because of The Handmaiden! This movie has been so good to me that it has even now increased my luck! Like, how am I supposed to love Ahgassi even more?! I already love it like no other!

With the posters, of course came the two CDs – The Hideo ver (with Sook-hee on the Disc) and the Sook-hee version (with Hideko on the Disc). The version sold on itunes store is of course the Hideko ver (as seen by the Sook-hee image used).

The other good that came with is the Script Book for the movie. As expected it is in the original languages only. By that I mean Japanese and Korean of course. But I am pretty sure that we will be seeing an English ver later on, especially after the movie hits English theatres from September and more hearts are stolen by The Handmaiden! For now I can only guess scenes from the Japanese, like the scene I took the photo of. That is the Scene where Sook-hee barfs at The Count’s attempt at seducing Hideko during the fruit painting lessons in the living room.

As for the OSTs, you already know what I am going to say in regards to the music – perfection! I have had the CD (Sook-hee vers since I have Hideko ver on Digital) playing all the day non-stop since I got the goods! It is oh so good! So good that I did not even bother skipping those lewd tracks as well even with other people in the house, because IIDGAF!

Ah, those tracks I am talking about are the ones with the sounds of Hideko and Sook-hee during that last sex scene with the bells! Yep, that is a track on the OST! Just pure sexy sounds that maybe anyone who hasn’t seen the movie would not know what they are doing! I mean, they are hearing bells, what could they possibly be doing with bells? (heh)

The music is just so good! And continuing on the awesomeness that this movie already is, they gave musicians a present out there by including sheet music for some of the songs so they can play themselves! Like, how not to love that!

To the less educated, there are lyrics (in Korean of course) and some pics in the booklet! They have everyone covered!

As for differences, I am sure there is something different from the Hideko ver as opposed to the Sook-hee version (other than the visible of course) so I will just keep on searching for them.

Meanwhile, I am still listening to this soundtrack and have already found my favourites, while I decide what to do with the yesAsia purchase. I don’t need it but the orders (yes, two of them) are already on their way here. I wonder if I can return them and get a refund? I will maybe wait and see what posters I get. If I got the 3P one, I will keep them. Otherwise, they are returning!
