My First Summer [Movie]
Best Lesbian Movie Of The Year!
That’s it people. Pack up for the year. We are done here. We already have the best lesbian movie of the year!
It’s called MY FIRST SUMMER!
Written and directed by Katie Found, My First Summer follows 16 year olds Claudia and Grace one fateful summer when Grace stumbles upon Claudia and her mother at a lake where they were planning a double suicide. Claudia survives but only Grace knows that she is alive or even who she is.
The two strike up a friendship that develops deeper with the time they spend together while the secret of Claudia threatens to spill as the investigations into her mother’s death still lingers around them.
That’s basically the story condensed into two paragraphs but as always, we are not here to pretend to be intellectuals or wannabe film critics. We are here to see what I think of the gayness in the movie and given my tastes (to those who have followed me all this time, thank you by the way for sticking with me, reasons of which I don’t know why), if you will watch or not watch in relationship to my reaction!
With that being said, let’s get this party rolling!
Ride Or Die [Teaser]
This sure looks like it’s going to be one fun HAPPY END yuri project from Japan!
Said no one ever!
Not that I am complaining. Unlike a lot of complainers these days, I don’t have a thing against heavy emotions, if done right. If the story is solid I will be there devouring it like I was just introduced to yuri the other day!
I hunger for yuri like I am a newbie!
That being said, Japan rarely executes with precision these stories but we shall see. It is after all, just the beginning of a new year so I will just roll with it and see where the wind takes me. At the very least there is actual yuri content this time around. One can just tune out the plot and just stay for the pron, so to speak!
But let’s be real, we are all here for Kiko and her playing a gay character! I mean, Kiko!!!! If only she was up for a challenge 9 years ago too (Helter Skelter)! Can you imagine her and Sawajiri Eriko getting it on?! The world would implode! Speaking of this, yeah, you know where my mind goes when I think of the ending to Helter Skelter!
Anyway, here’s to praying there’s been some progress from the land of the rising sun because hope for content from there is pretty low! Now we have to settle for imaginary unicorns in the likes of the characters from Alice in Borderland (you know who I am talking about! Though, can it be considered yuri if she used to be a guy?!)

I don’t know about you all but the future looks bright!
Of course my future is already bright outside of yuri (if you follow me on Twitter you know) but it is more ethereal when the rest of one’s life is also looking bright!
The year started slow (what with the only thing we have in Dickinson dissapointing so far) but we already have the first quarter looking vibrant with the Spanish Series EL INTERNADO, which I made a video about, bringing the heat this Feb with Rita and Adele.
I have to say, I have changed my tune with Amazon Series. So far I have been very disappointed! Sure they have lesbians but their stories never do anything for me. There’s always something that lets me down and while El Internado also has this issue, at the very least they made it up with that kiss!
Yes, I am still declaring it the KISS OF THE YEAR!
Anyway, other than that, here we have two movies that look to be set to battle it out for the movie that shall go on that Yearly List as the poster Babe for the movie of the year! I am so impressed with the trailers so far that I can’t come ot a solid comclusion on who will take the crown!
But if I am to bet, I have my money on THE AFFAIR!
Anyway, I know that THE WORLD TO COME is already in theaters in some countries but woe is me. I will have to wait for the Blurays to enjoy it. Hopefully THE AFFAIR will be a digital release?
Anyway, that is all. Back to my videos I go (Yes, I was busy while I was MIA. The Action being that I was working on multiple videos. Now you see the fruits of that labour. Still a lot more to come)
