And when I first thought of this comparison it was only in the mountain climbing, but now that I was making these pics, there’s even more similarities!

Sumire wearing a blue dress and leading the way just like Reina. Mana having the exact same hair-do as Kumiko and both being super real characters and oh…Is that a blue scrunchie that Reina had on that looks exactly like the one Sumire had in the beginning of the movie, which she used to tie Mana’s hair back in the bathroom!?!!

Whoo weee!!!!!

Yeah, I still hate Hibike Rebel-lium but damn, this is not going to go with the wind!

We fuckin don’t!!!

Last June we got the incredible Threesome in the FEAR STREET trilogy and look…A year later and Netflix is back with a bucket of food in the form of a lesbians’ version of Buffy and Angel and a different take on Resident Evil! Now this is the Resident Evil that does not have Alice which I can get behind, unlike that other recent try at a reboot!

Knocking aside, RESIDENT EVIL looks like it will deliver and I am 100% behind it, even though it’s gonna be awkward if those two turn out to be sisters…awkward for everyone else that is….huehuehue!

Ahem!

As for FIRST KILL, I am very picky when it comes to vampires as they are my favourite monsters so I hope to all that is good that they do the vamps respect and in doing that, that they also do the hunting respect!

Blade frkiin came out 100 years ago or something as did Buffy so any b-rate action and vampirism ain’t gonna cut it here Sistar!

But on the bright side, this looks like it’s going to be one cute couple in our girls at the very least and is that Nosferatu I see?! It’s been a while since I saw vampire Lords!

But when it comes to horror, it’s horror first and lesbians second you if the gay does not work out, the horror better be good enough to make up for it!

But there is no more place for glass-half-full thoughts around here so I am hoping for the these to blow us away! I have reached the time where I trust Netflix to deliver (sequels is a different conversation, okay?!) And are they starting to get into stylised Logos?! I am so there!

Anyway, can’t wait for next month (Legacies and our Hizzie episodes got delayed to June too, like, gay month much!?!)

Continuing on with the big four, next up we have STARTING OVER!

Here we have another special one from Japan that I stumbled upon literally by mistake and I was surprised by its sincerity and just how emotional it was by just relying on the actors alone!

Yes, this is another one of those lovely ‘silent’ movies that I love so much! And by that I don’t mean that they lack sound, I mean that there is very little to no background music being used to manipulate/intensify emotional scenes. There is music but it is used in scenery shots, not during character interactions which I 100% prefer.

For me, this style makes the movie more emotional and intense when we are left with just the characters, their words, their expressions and the heavy, oppressive atmosphere! Those types of movies hit me hard and leave an impression never to be forgotten and while I am sure it won’t be a lot of people’s cup of tea, and thus I don’t think the fragile of hearts should watch this, I totally recommend it.

Okay, that is a line that is supposed to come at the end of the post but you know me, since when did I make sense?!

While we on that topic of coming last, I should tell you now that this movie also ends on a HOPEFUL note. Seeing as it came out years before the others, I guess it is safe to say that the HOPE started here?! Well, until I find another that came before it that is!
