Just in case anyone didn’t know, I ship Crona/Maka like Kraaaaaaaaaaaazy! I couldn’t keep my eyes off of them in the anime and though it took its sweet time getting there, the manga is finally on for some more Crona/Maka bonding.

As one would expect, since the manga hadn’t been up to date, the anime chose to take its own route towards the Kishin of Madness. And while the anime totally butchered Crona’s character, it did give us some memorable moments between Crona and Maka. Where as the Manga had Crona on a level that s/he deserved. I just hope Chrona actually gets to contribute to the finale all out battle. I mean I was hoping Crona would have a deeper connection to the madness than expressed. Crona should be like, Kishin’s successor or the final final boss or something but alas.

Interestingly,things look like they are going to be resolved in the same place that they started, between Crona and Maka I mean. It’s that church where Maka, probably suffered her first defeat and almost had trauma of it because she almost lost Soul. This time Maka has levelled up quite a lot so things should be different. But on the other hand, Crona is also not quite the same, not the same at all.

This is really going to be good. So very good. If only it was in animation…Sigh.

I didn’t like it though that Maka was underestimating Crona by asking Black Star to stay behind because it would be too much for Crona. Lack of confidence in ur hasbando is a No No Maka. I hope you get showed the error of your ways.

Any way, very much looking forward to the battle of madness between these two destined er black bloods.

And it looks like Crona doesn’t remember Maka?
