Yes, thank you Doctor Who! For, I for one know when to be thankful and this is such an occasion!

To the un-initiated, in the latest episode of Doctor Who, which cam out came out two weeks ago but you know all about time and yours truly around here – we are no one’s bitch, and that includes time too!

Anyway, in the latest episode, which was the Special for the 14th season, our companion finally made it make sense when she too, like many an companion before her, finally realised she was in love with the Doctor, well, excluding Donna and Bill because Bill had her own special Alien in Heather with who she is still travelling space and time with in their own T.A.R.D.I.S, just like, oh, that’s right, the ones before them who were Clara and Me, who too when we last saw them, they were out travelling the universe in their own time machine!

That was in the 9th season!

In other words, we have had not one, not two, but three ships since the 9th season which tots blows my mind when I think about it and I am left to wonder why no one is appreciating this!

Like, Doctor Who is a very big deal and frankly I am still shocked that we had those two but now here we are, with a third one! Three is indeed a lucky number!

Like, how can I not be appreciative!! Good luck finding a hit show that goes out of its way to give us ships in important characters like this!

Yeah sure, I am kind of counting my chickens from my egg basket as the Doctor, though she now knows, thanks to the self proclaimed Cupid, though I without him we wouldn’t have gotten anywhere with these two, I am already happy enough that they acknowledged it!

All Doctors before this have had feelings for their companions so while it was cliché to think that now that we have a female Doctor and a female companion there better be gayness, I almost thought the show would pull a reverse on us and the Doctor would fall for a male companion, even if her and Yasmin have had this electric thing going since the beginning!

Speaking of Yaz, I freakin love her. Her hair especially! Hmmm those eyebrows! Psst, don’t tell her that I fantasize about her hair wet! What?! I have a think with wet dark long hair!!! Especially them eyebrows!!

Dear BBC, an after shower scene please of her eyebrows wet? That’s all I am asking for!

Ahem!

Anyway,  I can’t wait for the 14th season! Things are gonna be super weirdly exciting, seeing the two of them try not to act different towards one another but failing miserably!

BEST END!

So, I was just going through my collection when I realised that despite writing about the first episode, aptly titled ‘PILOT’, I never actually talked about the conclusion to Bill and Heather’s relationship other than a short video of their reunion!

Now, there is a good explanation about this, well, kinda! But I guess it is mostly my fault for waiting so long after the last episode of the 10th season to write that post! Something happened between that period that turned me off enough that I ended up not writing about the ending to the season.

Actually, now that I think about it, I am just going to ignore anything that has to do with Bill after Season 10 because as far as I am concerned, Bill and Heather’s story ended with episode 12 of Season 10.

Seriously like, that episode had the best conclusion to Bill and Heather that I can imagine so it boggles my mind how someone just sat there and thought…you know what, how about we totally screw that ending over and the lots of fans who were behind this relationship?!

Oh great, there I go again totally doing something I said I wouldn’t!

Anyway the ending to Bill and Heather in season 10 was just so perfect! Everything came full circle! We all thought it that Heather would eventually come back to Bill and I knew it would be when she most needed her and they did not disappoint! Just when Bill was in an impossible situation (you can’t turn back once you become a cyberman) Heather came in on her white horse, sword swinging and totally saved the day!

In doing so she fulfilled her promise to Heather never to leave her and while she did when Bill asked in episode 1 in order to set her free, Heather still was with Bill when she left her tears behind, which called her back in the end as Bill reached her most sorrowful state.

In addition, she also fulfilled the promise of taking Bill with her were she to leave. In addition, that ending totally proved the existence of true love! Love that is eternal. Love that transcends time and space and all that other stuff! They already proved this before of course in episode one when the Doctor travelled millions of years into the future and Heather was still there, still able to find Bill, still loving her!

God, this reminds me of Homura and Madoka and how she never forgot her promise even the many months of horror she had to go through!

Then there is the fact that Heather became the most advanced ship in the universe (more than the TARDIS even). She can go anywhere, she can do virtually anything and she is her own pilot! But just like all ships, they need a passenger and who wanted to go anywhere else because she too did not belong as much as Bill did? Also don’t forget she asked Heather once if she could take her with wherever she was going! They are essentially perfect for one another!

The bottom line is that they had gotten the best ending possible! It was like, the best complete relationship on Doctor Who! It was a moment of triumph for the community! Imagine being represented like that in a fan favourite show that is Doctor Who!

But then they had to go and…

Bill and Heather Re-united!

I can”t!

I literally can’t!

The moment I was waiting for since episode 1 is finally here! And it did not disappoint! Sure it took them until the very last episode (An awesome episode) to deliver but I am so happy right now! Everything is just so right, right now! And their reunion happened in the exact context that I was hoping it would, by the now Godly Heather coming to Bill’s rescue where The Doctor can’t!

Oh my stars…

Simply…perfect!

Finally, finally dear Readers, a relevant Doctor Who post! Oh, how I have waited for this moment! Ten seasons, 10 whole seasons and we are finally here Ladies and Gentlemen! Finally, a season of Doctor Who worth writing about, here on this particular blog that is!

I already said it, in the other post, and the only one, of Doctor Who, which was about the LIVE show, but I am a huge fan of Doctor Who! Well, the 2005 gen that is! I have been following this show since then! And since it is a given, Tennant is my favourite Doctor, then Capaldi (the current one and in this episode)! As for the companions, Rose is a no brainer as my fav then Bill!!! Now, not to be mistaken by favourite female character in the series! That honour goes to the one and only River Song!

From what I understand, this is going to be Capaldi’s last season as the Doctor, which is really sad because I have a feeling it is going to go down as my favourites, especially if Bill and Heather pull through, which I think they will but more on that soon. I really love Capaldi! it is such a breath of fresh air to have a Doctor that isn’t so tied down to the companion, who are always lessened down in appeal because of their attraction to him!

Ah but this season, this season things are different, completely different! You won’t see Bill lusting after the Doctor this time! And the Doctor himself is not the green horns that have come before! Capaldi is a warrior Doctor so he is kick-ass first then mingle! Nay, Bill is a whole different companion partner! She is not only not into boys and only has eyes for the Ladies, but by the end of episode 1 of the season 10, she is already taken!

And best you stay away because her love is right there on the top of the food chain! She took out Daleks like they were nothing! Time and Space mean nothing to her! She is even better than TARDIS and this is when she is not complete yet! Once she has all the knowledge she needs, she will be of godly levels!
