Are you seriously?!

Yes, yes, I am aware that everybody and their grandma along with Uncle have watched this movie and and that the same number of people have written about it not to mention the raeping tumblr is going through with all those pic-spams that seem as endless as time itself. For crying out loud, there are even general threads on 4chan even in /u/. I know all that but I just cant not talk about this as well.

While I am pretty sceptical about all the awards this movie has won and all the records it has broken, I completely agree with almost everything else said about it…within the community! Confession time first, I am one of those few that did not watch this movie in theatres and with all the hype and spoilers that could not be avoided even if one was a master in ninja arts, I went into this watching with a pretty deep bag of feelings! Amazingly, disappointment, that is a sure result from all the hyping, was not among the feelings I went away with at the end of the movie!

This movie people, seriously! I’m sorry, I know you have all watched it already, probably,  but my mind is still blown! On the surface, even the plot if read in summary show nothing at all different from any other Disney movie. The Queen runs away after just being coroneted leaving her country in peril and prompting her sister to go after her and bring her back with the help of some charming guy that she is so obviously going to fall for in that sickly sweet over-used romance shenanigans. And the start was oh so Disney too but I knew things so I simply ignored that and then things started to go all kinds of rainbow levels of awesome!

AKB48 36th Single ‘Labrador Retriever’ Senbatsu

Look at all them mountains protecting Yukirin though ^^

山　- Yama in Yamamoto, Yokoyama and Iriyama means mountain in case anyone did not know ^^ And interestingly taka in Takahashi also means tall as in a high place. Lots of high walls protecting my Goddess there hehehe. Sorry, I just thought that was an interesting little observation.

Any way, Mayuyu is centre, as it should be. She is the darn Face now so it shocks me reading comments about how everyone was shocked by that. Maybe they were expecting le Paruru a la 35th single PV?! I guess no one dared think out of the box and associate that number with the number of senbatsu members, which is 36 too BTW.

Yeah, I am totally crying and for various reasons right now! First of all, Nogibingo! is o-v-e-r Over! How am I going to spend my Friday nights form now on? Seriously this has been the most enjoyable and looked forward to 48/46 show for me this season and now it’s tots over! So downs right now!

And as if that fact alone wasn’t enough, they go and make the last episode such a FEEL-inducing roller coaster! Seriously, how am I supposed to hold all those FEELS in when the bring out secret weapons like these letters of apology from member to member! How?!

I couldn’t! My throat and my chest are both hurting pretty bad right now! I am such a mess that I could only get the energy to translate ( very roughly) just Reika’s letter to Yumi! I couldn’t hold it in anymore., My eyes could see a thing! I was typo-ing every three characters so I gave up! So forgive me but I only found time to translate Reika’s letter only.

So anyway this week the theme was that members who had something really weighty to apologise for to another got to write in down in letter form and then read them in front of the intended. Naturally Captain went first. And naturally still, the receiver was none other than Wakatsuki-sama. I speak for everyone when I say that no one was surprised by that, huh? Anyway since I translated this, no need to talk about it. Read it and find out if interested…

人狼ゲーム Jinrou Game

So, being a huge Seika and Nanami fan, I was really thrilled when I stumbled upon a movie that they starred in together out of nowhere! I simply hadn’t heard of this movie at all before so I was really excited when we met! Now in case you are looking for it, be careful. There are different Jinro Game movies so be careful. Then again, if you are looking into this one, it means you are a horror fan so even if you get it wrong, you might still enjoy what you found.

If you know not either of these girls, I am shaking my head at you. Nanami is kind of famous as an actress having been in quite a lot of projects already and in addition to her acting streak, she is also an Idol. That’s right, she is Idol first then actress afterwards. She is part of the 5 member group bump.y. From which another member co-starred alongside our very own Kitarie in Joker Game, a movie of the same genre that I have already posted about here.

As for Seika, if you don’t know Seika, I am shaking my head furiously in an attempt to figure you out! I have posted about her here quite a few times already, starting with that SKE movie starring Yuria and Shiori – ‘Gal Basara’ then in one of my most anticipated movies of the year – ‘Yume no Kayoyiji’. By the way, Yume no is already out on DVD but since I batch-ordered my copy with movies that aren’t out yet, I am getting it in May so…
