HORROR + LESBIAN!?!!

Dear Netflix, stop trying to get into my pants!!!

Nah Scratch that, actually, don’t stop! This right here is my life’s cocktail! I would watch the straightness out of a G-rate movie if it was a horror with gay leads!

Despite the periods, (More projects from the past huh…) and this being horror, I actually have a good feeling about this one! I have not read the books (But believe me when I tell you they are shipping as we speak, damn you Covid, I would be reading them now if it weren’t or you!)

I haven’t read them yet but my yuri-sense is tingling and I trust my yuri-sense!

I mean, not only do we have gay leads (in one, if not two) of them movies but we also have a possible threesome and a questionable rivalry and better yet, they are a ITRC couple, like, could this have been more perfect?! And the actors are not new kids on the block, if you are into Series you have seen them at least once!

We are just a week away from the first (and most relevant) of the movies which is coming on July 2nd and then the others will be a week after each!

Perfect!

Netflix is a blessing (most times) and I am glad this is not a series but a trilogy of movies! It probably would have been cancelled like out favourite lesbian shows! (Cries woefully for I AM NOT OKAY WITH THIS!)

Vid – Show Me Heaven [The World To Come]

Welp, there goes another BAD END!

But really, what can one expect from a period piece, eh…And I am not sure if I am just used to it but despite Tallie (Vanessa Kirby) dying at the end, I was not that mad about it! Maybe it had to do with the flag that was just there throughout the whole movie about her husband having issues…

Either way I actually did not mind the BAD END! And I liked all characters, even the men so there is that!

I know many are sick of all the historical lesbians but I guess it is best that they start from there! And by that I mean they start with the periods where being gay was like a curse so that we get that battle out of the way now and make room for happy content down the road when everyone is…well…almost everyone is comfortable with the gay religion!

Anyway, yeah…enjoy..

But despite holding a torch in one hand for that ending, I am holding a heart for these two in the other because Goddamn it, we were so close! Domenica almost won the girl (Tess) over two…TWO male love interests!!!!

I can’t believe Sakura-tan is gone too! That literally leaves just the last one standing out of all my Kamis – Yukirin! Rena is gone, Macchun is gone, Ikoma-kun is gone, and now Sakura-tan is gone too!

This pain, I will never get used to it!

Yes, yes, I know she’s still signed on in South Korea but I am not into IZONE for reasons beyond my understanding so really, the only way I will be seeing her again is through her YouTube channel!

And Yukirin too is having a life-threatening crisis, not a very good year 2021!

Yes, I know this is not your first series I’ve watched this year but it is your second…ever and just like the other one, this one too is an acquired taste but you know me, I am no n00b so as far as I am concerned, points for trying are in order and also Scout and Hedwig, despite their fate, is to my taste as ships go!

Yeah, if you are easily disturbed or one of those keyboard warriors, I would stay away from this one if I were you! Those with an open mind, tots check it out! I mean, we already have enough content these days so one that still follows the hated tropes is no big deal these days!
