You know what you need to do!

Black-saaaaaaaan!

Oh how I’ve missed thee! Feels like a lifetime since we last got a Majisuka Gakuen series, let alone one with her! Heck, it feels almost as long with Centre too! Seriously, I about broke out in tears seeing them again! And they took a pic together!

God, even frikkin Nacchu is making me emotional!!

Actually, aren’t they like, the only two major characters left from the original Majisuka Series? That of course is Series 1 and 2 that I am talking about.

The feels…

Great, now I feel like writing another Majisuka fic! And why not, I have had this urge to do a crossover between Series 1/2 and Majimuri. Centering on Black and Lily of course. Center, Kaiser and Eins as supporting characters too.

Damn, I knew I had it bad for Majisuka Gakuen but I did not think it would be this bad! I mean, it’s been literally years and there is no more Gekikara…

*cries*

Speaking of which, who dares to wear Gekikara’s uniform! In the presence of Black to boot! I don’t care about the other characters, you can wear Maeda’s uniform, you can wear Sado’s uniform, you can wear Nezumi’s but Gekikara?!

That’s where I draw the line!

Speaking of, why didn’t YuiYui wear her Lily costume?! They should have a crossover with all the characters wearing their own but alas… This is AKS we are talking about here. Great decisions-making hasn’t been on the memo since 2012!

As for where these are from, the girls attended the #MUSICDAY event and I guess they performed either Majisuka Rock n Roll, Majijyo Teppen Blues or Yankee Soul, if they are adamant about keeping the original characters’ costumes.

While we are on the subject, I remembered that I have yet to write about Trouble in the Supermarket, the Majisuka Play centering on Black-san. When I get time for a re-watch, I will.

Admit it, you all but forgot about this movie too, didn’t ya!

I know I totally did. I have had this movie for years now and I am sure that there were those waiting for me to talk about it, so I apologize for keeping you all waiting. Unfortunately, there was a good reason for the delays.

The thing is that this movie is mainly in Russian with very few spoken words of Japanese. Yes, I bought this in Japan and thus it has an abundance of hard-subs for every Russian line spoke. And as such, the struggle was real! All I understood of this movie was from visual story reading and nothing else.

If you know how I tackle these things you will know that I was in the deepest of doodoo! I didn’t even want to write about it because really, what is there to write about? How can I talk about a scene which I did not understand the topic of?

Not understanding makes the ending that much more confusing and it is up to everyone to make out what it means. But like I said, it was a slice of life kind of movie, so summaries aren’t that hard. I must resist going in too deep to the point of needing what was being said!

Moritani Misuzu (short light hair) is, is a girl who can stop time but for three minutes. Murakami Haruka is Misuzu’s very popular classmate and the only one that is unaffected when Misuzu stops time.

Misuzu learns of Haruka’s special case when she tries to stop time while wearing Haruka’s skirt (I don’t know how), and she finds that she can’t. In the midst of being intrigued by this phenomena, Misuzu will find herself drawn to Haruka and eventually fall for her.

Meanwhile Haruka will use Misuzu’s ability to her advantage by making some weird requests of her ability to stop time. Some of which will hopefully include the trailer line of ‘Let me do whatever I want with you for three minutes’.

Sadly, we have to wait for a while for this movie as it doesn’t release in theatres until November and then add six months on that for the physical and yeah, almost a year before we get to enjoy this.

Oh well, at least it’s coming. I don’t remember the last time we had a yuri anime movie so this is great!

And since this is an adaptation, there is a manga that we can still enjoy. First time I’ve heard of it though so I might buy it just in case I can’t wait. I have learned my lesson to never read or watch the original before the adaptation if I can help it. I will try to wait after the movie to buy the manga, like I did for the movie TELL IT TO THE BEES.

Meanwhile across the seas, Euphoria is progressing almost like Yuridano. In fact, if this is a typical HBO show, it too will be 8 episodes.

Now, sure Yuridano had its first kiss in episode 2 but really, it came down to restraint because there was that moment in episode 2 where the girls were stoned that I expected them to kiss. Should I take this restraint then as a good sign that things won’t progress the same?

Unfortunately, I can’t say for certain that they won’t because unlike Yuridano, Euphoria at least gives you warning signs to proceed with caution! For starters, Jules’ crush on Dick is growing stronger and they are to soon meet next episode. And if there wasn’t that bridge to cross, the show hasn’t really made it clear of Rue’s feelings for Jules. It’s mostly up to us viewers to make up our minds. Though after this episode…
