Oops sorry, I meant Team B!
Happy anniversary Team B! My favourite Team! Is, has been and will always be (as long as Yukirin is part of it) my favourite Team Yasusu team! Team N almost stole that title when Yukirin was a Kennin over there which meant that two of my Oshii (Yukirin and Maachun) were part of the same team, not to mention that Sayanee, who was my first NMB crush, is also part of Team N! And don’t get me started on that Tenshi ga iru stage! It is second only to B5 (Megami), in terms watch times! And in case someone is interested, the third position goes to Party, thanks to Team 8, NIII and SKE KKS!
Ten years that Mayuki has been together! Like how even?! From the very beginning they were put in a position where they were supposed to be rivals, destined even but these two totally beat fate in that they never followed the rules of the universe that any other pairing follows in that they are rivals first and friends later! Never once did there seem to be rivalry between Mayuki, not even once!
Despite Mayuyu always taking the Ace position, for the Team, Yukirin was almost like a double Ace but as always never being the first. Only next to Mayuyu, and sometimes even more than her, she got the most lines in songs and centre positions. She was also one that took over as MC whenever Cindy was not around in the early days, most notably in the team B show AKB48+10.
Speaking of, I am feeling nostalgia, after all these pics of the anniversary LIVE where almost all the original members came back to perform. 12 members in total showed up, all things considered that is not bad. Not bad at all! And so after this I am going to re-watch that AKB48+10 show, all stages from B1 to B5, the 2009 Request Hour and the early AKBINGO episodes, before it was even called AKBINGO!
Ten years, this also makes Yukirin the member who has been with any team out of all the Teams, the longest! Indeed, she is true Blood! Oh man, now I wish she entered SSK! I mean, can you imagine if she won, on Team B’s anniversary? There is no telling if after being so loyal maybe Team B and colour blue would have finally given her back some luck! I can just imagine the headlines ‘ Kashiwagi Yuki (25) – The true Team B member finally wins SSK on it’s 10 year anniversary!’
Dammit all!
Seriously though, how have Mayuki managed to survive all these years?! And it’s not like Mayuyu is not competitive because she really is! Yukirin everyone knows would choose peace any day of the week but even then it doesn’t work like that! Only one person can’t make things work. otherwise there would be less violence in this world! So how?!
The only mystery of the universe I know of!
