“Believe and Thau Shall Be Enlightened”

That’s right! I just bought yet another copy of Fingersmith, only this time it is the Hardcover version! Why? Well…Today I sat two finals and I was feeling pretty great so I decided to drop into the cinema to see Civil War. The thing is, the movie was a ways off for the IMAX version and I didn’t feel like going home and then coming back to the cinema so I figured that I could spend the time reading something. But then I found out that I had left my Fingersmith copy at home!

What do? Well, I have money and lots of time going shopping so to the nearest Bookstore I went. Looked around, went into the gifts section and there I found a Hardcover version of Fingersmith! All plans for a different book went out the window, because not only was this a hard cover, but it was also the old and best cover with those lovely signature Maud’s gloves!

So happy was I that in the cinema I went right back to the first page! only got to Gentleman just arriving to Lant Street (Sue’s home) then I had to go to the movie! The feeling that I felt seeing this cover, on a hard back made me think that this was my Book of Faith now.

So imagine my shock when I get home to find that there is another video! a video much longer than the ones that have come before. A video that introduces us to the characters. A video that gives us scenes we have not seen before!

Yeah~

This week, these past few days have been heavenly! Awesome things are happening to Yukirin, FINALLY! And then there is this – A movie that is promising to be my favourite movie of all time until the end of time (my time)!

These days are just too good to be true! And what’s even weirder is the fact that I don’t have any bad feelings about that fact. Usually when things are too good to be true, I get a fore bonding feeling and it always comes true (See early last year and the year before that) but not this time! And I don’t think my yuri-powers are failing me.I can’t explain it but believe me on this one, please.

I have included MF zip for the combined videos we have so far in glorious Full HD obviously, because anyone who still deals in SD in this day and age deserves to be executed!!

In those vids BTW, there is a subbed trailer and I better warn you that I completely ignored the names they decided on the characters! I don’t know if they are real or if it is a translation error but ‘Hideko’?! NO, Just NO! I will stick with the original character names, thank you very much!

Anyway, about those new scenes…(PS: Thank you so much for the heads up whatever)

A few days before Mother’s Day from Yukirin…

Just…just look at them! Like, how have we not had tens of PVs of Mayuki?! It doesn’t make sense to me! These are No1 and No.2 in AKB and 2 and 3 in the whole 48 group we are talking about here! Their chemistry has been going on since the dawn of AKB so there is no way anyone doesn’t know about it! So why?

Sigh, another of the many universal questions that will never be answered. Well, at least someone tries, like giving us That Tokyo Dome Wedding!

Them two tying for 1st place (or second) or announcing graduation at the same time is probably our only chance of getting a Mayuki Single.

Anyway, I wonder what Mayuyu’s real Mom thinks of Yukirin. I wonder if they have actually met yet. Well, they did meet during Mayuyu and Yukirin’s first meeting at that train station but I am thinking these days when we can’t tell which ‘Mother’ Mayuyu is referring to when she talks about her. I can even just imagine the tension in the room with the two sitting on opposite sides of Mayuyu.

Like, can you imagine if Mayuyu wanted to do something and the two ‘Moms’ had different views of that decision? Okay, I better stop because the delusions are getting to me real hard.

We welcome thee to Yukirin World!

Okay, something is very up! I just did a quick search and it turns out these two have been put together quite a few times than normal. Something is very up! And if the PV for the SSK single delivers, things are about to be pumped up to 11 with these two! To those who don’t know, Yukirin in the PV for the 44th single has feelings for Miion and there was a tease released where Yukirin tried to kiss Miion in the damn auditorium! She got pushed away but the PV is 12 min long so maybe there is more to that?

Anyway, I did not post about it because I am waiting for the full PV to hit before I attempt suicide via heart attacks. But before that time comes, we have to survive AKB48Show, next Saturday’s episode to be exact, as in that YukiMiion have a conto, just the two of them, where Yukirin plays the Werewolf and Miion the Little red Riding Hood!

NHK release a BTS/interview for the skit and my God! In the less than three minutes of the video, Miion touched Yukirin 8 times. Eight times!!! And in those minutes, I think she only made eye contact with Yukirin only once or twice at most, because all the time she turned to Yukirin, her eyes were glued on Yukirin lips! I kid you not!

Either these two actually kissed in that PV and Miion is under a never ending spell, or they did not let them kiss and Miion is under a never-ending grudge and regret, still wondering how it would feel, if only that…that director-san could have let them kiss! Damn them! Maybe she should have let Yukirin-san kiss her and say she was nervous pushing Yukirin and couldn’t do it? Ah but it was too late!

Man, I can’t wait for this skit. And if it weren’t set in stone, let me make it so now – YukiMiion is a go! Being shipped by the all new BG Couriers – Faster than a falling star, having your ships before you even decide to ship them – Switch to BG Couriers!

[Pics] Which Member is Yukirin’s ideal Girlfriend?

HA! You didn’t see that coming, now did you?

In her interview with LoGIRL about the AKB Love Night series, Yukirin was finally asked the ‘What if you were a boy’ question. They asked her which girl (amongst the 40 or so doing the series) would she want to be with were she their boyfriend. Without even a beat Yukirin said Annin’s name.

Apparently, once every year, Annin just comes out to surprise Yukirin by saying that they should go out (on a dinner date). Yukirin says this always get her (make her heart race)! What she says is true, Annin doesn’t seem like that type of girl and apparently where they are alone Annin is surprisingly forward!

As to why Annin? Well, first of all Annin’s facial features are so Yukirin’s type. Secondary, as mentioned Yukirin likes it when Annin surprises her. She says that if Annin was her girlfriend that she would never get separated from her. Two other reasons are that Annin is both fashionable and is a pretty good cook, which is, according to Yukirin – perfect!

And it is perfect indeed because for a food monster like Yukirin (She is one!) a good cook is all she needs, throw in the fact that the cook has a face she can’t resist, and that they are quite fashionable, something she needs help with, well, nothing else needs to be said.

I never considered Annin  an enemy of Mayuyu but this changes things. Hopefully Mayyuyu did not read that interview. I doubt she did, what, with the lack of bloodshed. Then again, her latest fire in being close with Yukirin and doing things together more often might have something to do with things.

You know, now that I think about it, there has been quite a memorable number of pair-ups of these two. Hmm…Is Annin perhaps the next…you know…? We shall see, we shall see. I am almost done with studies so…

An English Trailer just dropped and OMFG, I just can’t right now!

This scene is of course straight out of the pages of the book. Look at that fake innocence (Not a spoiler since the trailers now give things away) on Maud’s face!! Totally screams that incredible scene in the book! You know which it is. It was the____ and the ____ that they _____ _____.

From what I am gathering in the trailers, Mr Park is just going to fill in the blanks that the book left out due to their intensity. We were told only that Maud ‘entertained’ her Uncle’s Gentlemen friends, but apart from reading books, we were pretty kept in the dark. We never knew what RFR was up to while we were with the girls at Briar seeing as the story was told from their POVs. So I understand that this movie overs those POVs we never got to know in the book, and I love it!

I mean this means that we get to enjoy Maud and Sue’s story from yet another perspective! How cool is that?! A love story told from three different perspectives! Never in the history of fiction and entertainment has that ever happened!

And I thought Fingersmith was legendary from just two perspectives!

And hopefully, this will shave off some worry most people seem to have thinking that The Handmaid/Ahgassi/The Handmaiden (How many titles does this movie have!?!) will not have yuri! Yeah, I don’t know why they think that despite what evidence we have in trailers and other promo material. All the director said was that he would focus more on RFR! He was the third most important character and I have to agree (even if it pains me to) that he was kinda, given the boot in the book. I mean I was happy he was not around but still, thinking of how he was essentially the one responsible for bringing Sue and Maud together, a little more screen time wouldn’t hurt. Anyway, his fate still awaits him so…

Buuuuut back to this new Alternate English Cannes version of the trailer…
