Before we go any further even, I want to say how telling the fact that Nodoka was there only by herself to see Saki during the break! It’s like since last season, everyone knows how these two are and thus know to give them their space like as if they were a couple or something! And really, with the way all the little things are telling, it might as well be true.

Any way, if anyone was disturbed by little disappearance act, I apologise. Nothing major, just too much assignments. My mind is filled with frikin node and lots and lots of if and switch statements! but we have a week off now (for St.Patrick’s day of course, which is tomorrow by the way, or today if you wanna be exact) so my mind can rest while it can.
And what better way to get me back into the game than worshipping two of my Four Kamis, eh? These two that are so similar to each other it’s almost criminal to not see a link, any link between them!
Seriously, I am not sure which is better, the thought that they are that similar despite being so different (and really trying to be different) or the fact that Sakura really loves Yukirin that much that she is always watching her! I mean there is no way she would know so much of Yukirin (if she was learning from her that is and not just a coincidence) if she weren’t watching her under a telescope!
Either way, the more things like these I see about them, the more I am pulled into wanting them to do something together again! Seriously, how can management resist such an opportunity!? It’s like money dancing in your face and doing nothing but just staring at it instead of grabbing it!

I am pretty sure I have mentioned it here and there before but just so you all know I am a great shipper of Ikomiona. That is Nogizaka46’s Ikoma Rina and Hori Miona. Just to get it out of the way, Ikoma is 1st Gen, Face of Nogizaka as well as the first Centre. She is 18yrs old as we speak. Hori Miona is 2nd Gen, the Centre of the 7th single Baretta/Barette and the Ace of 2nd Gen of members too. She is 17 years old at the time of typing.
Now with that quick intro out of the way, and I am sure you know that Ikoma is now in an exchange programme btn Nogizaka and AKB48 Team B a la the shuffles, let’s get to how cute these two are together.
And before I touch upon the caps above, I wish to point you to this post Hocchan posted about Ikoma-kun’s mix in with AKB48 where she calls Ikoma her precious! That’s right, her precious!
I mean I have been into them for a while as I picked up vibes about them from Nogizakatte Doko and Nogibingo where it seemed like Ikoma was actually a great support for Miona but I figured that might have been PR, for show, but it seems that wasn’t the case.
Proof that I wasn’t chasing waters first came in the form of that blog post from Hocchan (as Ikoma-kun calls her) of course but then today, I stumble upon this episode that…Interestingly it aired all the way back in December, 3rd to be exact, yet H!O did not, and still doesn’t have it! I guess they don’t have everything after all.
Anyway, in this episode of R no Housoku, Nogizaka were the guests and I got to learn a really important fact about this ship. First of all, before we even got to the juicy info, I was already melting at their cuteness. Hori was asked if there was a member she was scared of…this was her face after she says no…
She was probably going – O man, I screwed up! How boring! I should have said something more interesting. But before her soul gem gets filled with despair, Ikoma-kun’s voice floats in from the heavens like the pull of the grief seed eating away the darkness and into Hocchan’s ear.
Like…How cute is that?! Seriously!?! You should have seen the look on Miona’s face upon hearing it! Jesus! And so we got that lovely scene you saw in the first caps. Well get this…
These two are so close now that every time they meet Ikoma greets Hori with a squeeze of her butt!
Yeah, let it sink in…
And no, it’s not harassment. Miona does not not like it so it is not harassment. I am still not too great with Japanese but I am pretty sure she said that she lets Ikoma-kun do it. And apparently her butt is so awesome Ikoma squeezes it every time they meet in greeting.
Yeah, I too am questioning what I am typing right now but it is the truth! And that precious look Ikoma-kun sent Hori-chan’s way towards the end >.< And then as if feeling Ikoma-kun’s gaze on her, Hocchan looks towards Ikoma as well as if there wasn’t two members sitting between them!
God!

The Show
So, this week on AKB48 Show ep19, apart from Takamina appearing on her segment, where she was actually a guest this time, the show was dominated by Nogizaka46. Indeed just like Cap said to Ikoma-kun in the opening sequence, it totally was the Nogizaka46 Show.
Sadly we only got that segment with Iku-chan, Hashimoto and Mai and the one with Takamina. The rest was song time. Actually maybe I shouldn’t be sad since they performed two of my Top 3 Nogizaka46 songs – Kimi no nawa kibou and Seifuku no mannequin.
To make things ever that much better, Kimi no nawa kibou, my favourite Nogizaka46 song, they did the LIVE version I love so much with Iku-chan on the piano! Man that song gives me eargasms every time I hear it especially LIVE. They really need to release this acoustic version of this song on the album (when it gets released) because it’s just too good to not be professionally recorded for infinity pleasure of listening!
Really great choice choosing Seifuku no mannequin as the other song too. I love that song and how it shows off the other side of the girls. Well, almost all songs so far have shown different sides of the girls but since I am a cool-factor freak, well, SnM takes the cake. And this is personal but seeing Minami-chan again really puts a huge smile on my face. I miss her in senbatsu.
I would have preferred if they did Baretta or Tsuki no Ookisa instead of Sonna baka na but then again, those two songs are also cool and we already have SnM so I understand why they chose to go with this fun song instead. Yeah, the show was awesome on the music side of things.
On the show side of things, Takamina and Sakurai of course talked about the leadership thing and Takamina asked about what we are all curious about, the Centre switcharoos they are doing now for every other single. And of course she asks about how Ikoma must feel about that but she also sees the change in her from when she was the Centre to now.
I too can see it, the change I mean. She is more fun now than when she was the Centre. Of course Ikoma is still the Face of Nogizaka even if she is no longer the Centre. I wonder how long will we have to wait until she centres another single. Yeah, can’t help but come to the conclusion that she is still the best choice for Centre. Oh well, who knows, maybe there will be someone who will be fit for the role more than her. Not in the current members though. Maybe in the 3rd Gen? Usually things get complicated around the 3rd Gen entry. On the other hand, this means we might yet get to see a Iku-chan centre as well (she was looking smashin in that suit, huh?) ^^ or maybe a Minami Centre, you never know (when she completes her diet mission).
Any who, I hope there is another Nogizaka Show episode coming our way. I want more awesome Nogizaka songs.

I just watched a preview of Yukirin’s 3rd solo in the form of her preforming the A-side of her second single ‘Shortcake’. I was planning on taking screencaps on the first watch but I could not dare pause the video at all! I don’t think I even blinked once through the first watch. And my ears, if the could express themselves, they would be blushing rainbows!
God her voice >.< I am not exactly sure what but it does things to my soul! Somehow it’s always different when she sings and when she is just speaking. It just melts my heart when I hear it and every time I listen to AKB singles and it sounds drowned in the sea of voices it makes me so sad and kind of depressed. Very rarely do you get to hear it pop out like in the case of Kaze was Fuiteiru.
So thank you God for picking her to be a soloist Live holder. Moments likes these make me proud to have her as my Kami Oshi. Best choice I’ve ever made and will never regret it…NEVER!
And those fans! How many glowy sticks did they bring? If there was a different colour to match what colour Yukirin was wearing…I swear too I am going to do whatever it takes to attend at least one of the following Yukirin concerts. The way she look at the audience, I don’t know what I would do if she looked at me that way and our eyes met! Because my mind would no longer be under my control.
And I have to wait until May to get my copy! Darn it all >.< Does anyone know if Amazon Japan allows you to split a big order? If I can then I will have to get the first half on the 19th and the rest in May when Kitagawa Keiko and Fukuda Kyoko’s Roommates gets released.
Seriously though I don’t think I am the only one who thinks she is levelling up with every concert, am I? And that line-up of live musicians supporting her with the Live bands >.<
