Hell yeah!

Blue VS Black. Lea VS Angelina. Love at first sight VS growing love! Warmest love story ever told VS grittiest fairytale ever told!

I dead!

Yes, Lea (and France) strikes back in a 100% yuri movie we haven’t had in a long while – Blue is the Warmest Colour! Everyone and their girlfriend in the community have already discussed this movie so if you know if them, you best go to their blogs (AfterEllen hint) for more deranged fangirling! It’s a movie about First Love and it takes the point so seriously that as Lea herself said, they shot that first encounter over 100 times just to get it right! To drive the point home, she says she still believes in Love at first sight too. Hmmm I wonder…

The trailer is choke full of goodness and I implore you if you haven’t watched it, go to youtube right now and do it! You will be counting down the seconds till you watch the movie believe you me! The director was also quite taken by the two’s acting which means we are in for one wild movie with superb in character actors in Lea and Adele. And they are both really hot so there is that too! Yes ‘Blue is the Warmest Colour’, that’s the movie to look forward too.

Now then, onto Maleficent…

 
 
 

Now now, I know you are frowning and being all sceptical-like but here me out. I too found myself frowning and rolling my eyes as soon as the Disney logo hit the screen. But then I paid attention! I looked, really looked at that logo especially he castle in the BG and as if I was reaching enlightenment, I suddenly remembered a certain project of Angelina Jolie taking on a revamped role of a certain Godmother! And doing so, I was hit with another down time. I tell you, my emotions were on a roller coaster going up and down.

Then as the trailer went on and there were these great scenes that contrasted so beautifully with each other, I was once again reminded of Alice in Wonderland Snow White and the Evil Queen movies.

Now unless one is in complete denial, the subtext in those movies were so blatant the fiction spawned there after being a real testament to it! My mood was up again when gears began rolling within my mind. It escalated even higher when the dialogue hit and I almost split my face with the grin I had on then and through out the whole movie!

Aurora: I know who you are.

Aurora: Your shadow, has been following me ever since I was small.

Aurora: Don’t be afraid.

Maleficent: I am not afraid!

Aurora: Then come out.

Maleficent: Then YOU will be afraid.

I don’t even give a damn about anything I am frikkin shipping everything out of this movie and you can’t do nothing to stop me, you hear me? Nothing! I don’t care id it is the same BAD END as Snow White or if some Dude magically appears, I. Simply. Do. Not. Care! I am frikkin shipping!!!!!
