Okay, for Team N, I understand. I would have understood if they did not even pick even one girl. Just like Milky said, and just as well all, probably, know, though it has suffered yet another delay, N Original is stated to hit this month. For a girl, especially a KKS to join N now, she has to have a short future of hell waiting for her to master the N stage! And N is all about precision which means she would need to work double time, no scratch that, triple times harder to be on time! And so I excuse them for they were thinking of the poor girl who would be suffering. So for them to limit the suffering to one is actually pretty nice of them. Milky probably was against getting anyone, she is that good-hearted..>_>, <_<…err..*coughs* anyway, that Ririka was actually made for Team N I think actually. She is funny, she has that alien feel to her which even in the already diverse world that is AKB Family, she already has her own uniqueness that, frankly, attracted me as well at first watch. I can’t wait to see her join the comedians! God, is N3 here already?!
So that excuses Team N. The rest though? Damn, there goes my good mood again! Let’s start with H! Why the hell, WTH did they not pick more girls?!! Who the fuck do they think they are?! They are the youngest team, and as Chihiro Cap said herself, they have yet to even find their own place in the big Family, which means they could have taken a shit load of girls, be it green horns or elders into their midst to rump up their variety. One or two older girls will not make them loose their youngest average age trophy they so cherish! And yet WTF did they do? Oh look, N is being cool calling it quits at one pick, we should do the same for teh drama! Okay, okay, so you want young girls but Team K took all the youngest ones. What about her then…

And everything started out so well too! Team N and B, my two favourite teams, actually took the girls I so wanted to be picked – Ririka and Aeri. Speaking of Aeri, I have an inner scene that went on when Team B were choosing her, or well, not choosing her. It went something like this…

I actually wanted to write a fic about this but then again, 99% of you don’t even know the girl so it would have been a waste since she would have had a big part in it. Truthfully I too just found out about her, in fact I just found out about all them in this video. All those segments on AKBINGO and the youtube videos were skipped, so it says a lot that these many girls grabbed my heart this fast. Rest assured, I am downloading all those vids and queuing them up for a good watch. Team B also won the most popular pic Saya-chan, who got picked by five teams! But of course with the Goddess present, all the luck went to her team obviously! And she too like Yukirin, is from a very far away place which means she will have to move to Tokyo eventually. And she is only 13! I am already having wet dreams of her being roomies with Yukirin LOL. Yes, everything was going great…Rena snatched the best smile in Nao – which BTW, makes 2 Nao’s in Team E,

Akaririn served great justice when she picked the girl that cried a litre of tears after making her cry on stage to steal more points for KII and Team K grabbed the two youngest TRUE 100% lolis in Hinana and Moe for themselves in order to teach them the ways if the books so that by the time they hit 15, they would be masters of fondling/yuri! I had a great smile on my face in these parts but then that SENTAKU-SHURYOU shit started happening and my mood started to sour by the minute! All those other teams? Fuckin villains, the whole lot of them! Greedy – not wanting to increase the potential of loosing their spotlight to new bloods. Irresponsible – Not wanting to waste their time taking care of the green horns. Stagnant – Not wanting their team feel to change, unwilling to accept new members. Or plain stupidity – Not realising the benefits of variance – Team BII, WTF?!! I respect that you took on one of the eldest girls who you hope might actually know WTF she’s doing and actually giving her a chance to hit the jackpot at that stage of Idol life but she is still new to this side of the world even though she is older! Like, WTF?! Do they even realise what position they are in?! I…I…
On behalf of these foo’s, I am very sorry girls, I am very very sorry! Please forgive them for they have no fuckin idea WTF they are doing! To them this is just another dramatic show to reel in the masses and they see your tears, and heartache as a great stepping stair of steps to even more stardom!
Truly, I am sorry! I hope you don’t give up and continue fighting so that one day you will show them all when you get their on your own two feet! Please don’t give up and do your best. I will be waiting!

KII really touched my heart on how they gave hope to those 5 girls….they did a really amazing thing….However, I do not approve on how you kinda insult the other teams for not picking a lot of girls….Firstly, just like Rena said, they are also thinking about the current KKS they have, they can’t give all the remaining positions in their team to all the draftees. If that happens, then what will happen to the current KKS…? Don’t you think it will be very unfair to them? There are still a lot of KKS in SKE and most of them have more potential than the draftees. That’s the reason why Team E just chose 3. But still, 3 is already many.
As for AKB’s team, they already implemented the non16 member team a long time ago so they only have very few spots left that was made open by the ones who graduated…so they can’t really choose a lot of girls….but well what do I know….I’m just making a wild guess about AKB’s team…I’m not really following them…

I really don’t think the number of members mattered, otherwise KII and others broke the rules.
Thus, making all those excuses meaningless. Unless they did not think that the girls were not good enough yet which also makes them sound even less appealing.
I love AKB so I am not purely bashing! As for the sister groups saving spots for their own KKS, I will be getting back to you on that. It’s a pain posting from a phone.

Ahh the draft, such a good idea in principle but I can’t feel as though it didn’t really work out as it was supposed to I think, sure there were good moments no doubt there but for me this event was not what it could of been…
as gekirena says in the post above it’s that good old AKS problem of numbers, I mean there are like no spaces and there are cues to get those spaces too! I mean they had to reform Team 4 as a (probable) temporary short fix to this problem so perhaps you can see why some thought of the problem of adding yet more girls
It’s also about knowing these girls, I mean it must of been hard to pick these draftees over current KKS for many of the captains, I mean you have a choice of a girl you have picked on relatively limited information or a girl you have spent time with, practiced with and performed with, I just know where my bias would lie in that case, even if the draftee had super potential…
lastly it was really knowing about these girls, I admit I made no real effort to but really information was not right out there on these girls and although there are some I find interesting I just cannot connect to them I could compared to any KKS I follow, there just in not a bond there and this lack of investment I think did effect me while I watched this….
This is where I agree with KII approach somewhat (especially after Churi mentioned on her blog that they would not be performing with KII for quite some time (in all but name anyway) ) I mean to her, and I guess others, they are basically just another form of KKS (the 6.5 gen as she said) with that in mind I can see how Churi could decide to go with a larger batch rather than one or two, she was not looking for a team member right now but was looking for potential, with that in mind her choice, or KII’s, does makes sense, plus of course on the night it was super sweet how they kept on going on their own at the end ❤
As I said I do like the idea of a draft, I think it's really a cool idea in principle but I just think the formula was not that great, sure this was the first year and obviously there needs to be fine tuning (this new team ranking system they are putting in might help things for example) but honestly, to me using, unknown girls like this just does not work as they are basically just becoming another form of KKS, there is no real impact I don't think…
If there is to be a draft, to me I would simply use any current KKS instead of auditioned girls, I mean to me surely part of the excitement of a draft is knowing who the "stars" are and wondering where they may go, I mean imagine if Kitagawa Ryoha was drafted to AKB Team A for example, that is worth taking notice of, even not at that level, at least we know about these KKS, at least there is a good level of investment there and that in this case matters I think….
Really though I wonder if a draft will ever work in the 48 groups as they are now, they have already been struggling with number issues for a while now and this is only going to add pressure to that, plus if all they are going to be is what looks like glorified KKS for that team why take away the chances that they would have to grow as the regular KKS have know by not being attached to a specific team, does not really make sense to me…
I think the idea of an AKB draft has the potential to be great, but really, this, to me is not a lot more than a glorified KKS audition….

I here you about the concept. Trutfhully, I was so pumped for this when it was first announced because at that time I thought the whole group members, not just AKB KKS would be drafted but then it turned out it was just KKS, and only the AKB KKS at that!
That was my first disappointment.
I think this would have done better if it had been a complete member draft where captains could pick all the girls from all the groups! I mean it would be much more complex, what with the moving of many members from their home towns but it would have been much more applicable to this draft concept.
At the very least they should have included all group KKS members!
The reason why am behind Churi is what you yourself said. She was thinking on her feet. Most of the new stages are a long way away so taking in more girls to evaluate their potential would have been way better than leaving just the 9 girls. NINE! What are they going to do? They are going to be subbing in for the always absent popular members which begs the question what would have been the loss of actually making them members now anyway. All other groups have enough KKS members to have their own stages but AKB now only has NIINE!!!!
This makes me so damn mad! It will be a while before I calm down enough to see reason.
