Meet the Successor of the Throne!
That’s one challenge down, now to see her take on the solo route and hopefully be one with AKB in this year’s Japan Record Awards.
Very happy for AKB to winning 2nd time in a row too.
Very proud

I know we often have a laugh (as they themselves do) about the mother daughter relationship but really for this we do have to say that Yukirin really was the mother like figure for Mayu getting to that spot and anyone who questions it, well, I have about 3-4 years worth of material backing my argument up…..
Also this, MaYuki center ❤

I don’t thini anyone can deny how Yukirin has a hand in Mayuyu’s growing-up.
If here is, that would be the first evidence of complete denial I will ever come across!

hmmm…Well I’ll divide my moment into two arguments:
1) Yukirin is certainly poised for great achievements as a soloist…I’m seriously planning a campaign to draft Acchan to the YukiRing label! Just the small piece I heard of her solo at the CDTV was enough to assure to me she’s going to be the biggest wave of this year! She’s probably going to hit it strong this first half of the year. Probably she’ll be even more busy than usual, if her dorama hits home then we might see more of Yukirin in the small screen, maybe even on the big screen with her own name! Basically 2013 is certainly going to bring good things for her.
2) Mayuyu…I’m still not buying her as centre, nor as a soloist…something is wrong…Manatsu no Sounds good was a hit because of two factors: ACCHAN and the Senbatsu Sousenkyo tickets. She’s so dry in the middle and seems to move without passion. I mean seeing Mayuyu awakens no emotion…Well others might differ but I think most of us who have been following AKB for long, notice she doesn’t brings that something a true entertainer does. When I see her in Acchan’s position I just can’t help but think, it was 1000x more fun to watch Acchan, it was also more lively.
In terms of skill and talent Mayuyu will never match Yukirin. As I sustained their relationship was more of a need than a spark, Yukirin was closer to Haachan and people like Lovetan than Mayuyu, indeed she benefited the most, as Yukirin brought out the appealing side of Mayuyu…
I agree Yukirin is at the top of her game inside AKB and she needs to strike at the bigger world. Mayuyu will now need a new ‘mother’ widen her horizons, and show her that the way she’s growing is not going to bear fruit in the broader entertainment world. Yukirin has done almost all the things she could achieve with AKB, but sees that No. 1 seed is going to stay a dream… I think she’ll leave the IDOL behind and rule over the elite of Entertainers. If AkiP was looking for a complete and enthusiastic entertainer she found it in Yukirin, well see how his bet for her goes…And I still consider that Mayuyu needs a rewiring of her brain…maybe then she’ll feel less awkward…If it is just me then, good…if not, well…

This is one of those rare times when I don’t know how to express what I want 2 say. About the girls, of course, their entertainment potential, pairings, unpairings, etc. I’m a latecomer 2 this world. Because I have lots 2 catch up on, I like the fiction best.Better I should have kept my hands off my iPad keys tonite. On the bright side, maybe this will win a prize 4 being most inane comment ever.

That last paragraph of yours Shiro, what you said about Yuki I could not agree more and looking at AKB at this moment I’m thinking that she might well be the nest one of the big names to graduate, mainly because it’s seeming like soon will be the right time for her to do so and also like you say there is really little else for her to do in AKB apart from, as you said, that No. 1 spot which we will sadly never get to see I feel…..
More strange perhaps is that although of course I’d be sad to see her graduate, part of me wants her to move on too, when the time is right for her to do so and not get ‘trapped’ in AKB like I feel some members have done and move onto the next level of her career.

I for sure know not what to do with this comment >.<
What exactly were you trying to say tho?

In summary, that despite me not wanting it to ever happen I can see Yuki graduatting soon and while that in itself would suck it might in many ways be the best thing for her to do……
