Sayanee? Milky? Nana? Ai-nyan?!…

I really don’t know what’s going on but my Oshi are breaking CODE these days I don’t even….
It began with Yukirin and her KKS powers back way then. Then came Rena with her fearsome fandom! Then came Sakura breaking the senbatsu train of thought then Yukirin again with her latest mind-blowing news and now Maachun also has something to say!
I don’t remember of it was here or if I mentioned it on tumblr only but even though Maachun placed a disappointing 60th place in the fan senbatsu, come Stage time Maachun is obviously the favourite! It is so strange that I always find myself wondering who the real centre of NMB is!
Well, to the others it is obviously a double centre with Sayanee and Milky, right?! If we go by the elections, Sayanee is on top, then Milky, then Nana, then Ai-nyan and Maachun comes in but also after a huge gap that includes even the new new Sakura-chan!
I am still hurt by that ranking even until now!
Ah but then get this, okay, the devils finally decided to release NMB LODs after Lord knows how long, even HKT released theirs before NMB, which is complete bullocks!
Any way I get to watching the LODs like a junkie and man, was I ever sent kabloey!!
Okay, first we know from experience that if a member is missing from a performance they usually bring in a KKS to replace them, right? It didn’t matter whether it was Yuko or Kana’s position, they would always be replaced by KKS.

Ah Kamikaze Girls…
Such a typical J-movie that comes out of seemingly no where to become a favourite. These kinds of movies are rare but Japan somehow always comes up with one every year. I can so totally name these lucky hits since 2000 if I wanted to.
This movie was released in 2004 and seeing its popularity, perhaps there are some of you that wonder why I have not talked about it until now. Well, there may be good reasons like me only coming across it just now (not true), did not have enough yuri to warranty a mention (also not true, well, partly not true) or maybe I was simply being a butt and simply not mention it. I mean there are plenty of movies I have yet to discuss but still.
Stranger still was that even the release of the BluRay not too long ago did not motivate me to re-watch it and discuss. So, why am I mentioning this now?
Well, I do value you dear Readers’ thoughts so when I was asked to say my thoughts on this movie (via tumblr) I figured, I already have it in my possession which means that it can’t be all that bad if it over-came trashing, so I whipped it up in queue last night and re-watched it in glorious HD.
NMB48 Danso – Riaru or Riaru…
Sayanee – Yamamoto Sayaka
Airi – Tanigawa Airi
Ainyan – Fukumoto Aina
And…um..
Announcer Megu – Nakashima Megumi
When NMB take on a challenge, they do take on a challenge so while AKB puts on wigs, do make-up and dress in boyish clothes to make them look more masculine, NMB on the other hand dones it with feeling. In other words, they don’t cosplay but actually do Danso like you would see outside while taking a stroll down the street!
And so while to others this might feel like…degrees below AKB’s Danso, I myself am quite taken by them. I mean you won’t find a Doctor Mayu going down town in this reality but you most definitely will find this Sayanee, this Ainyan or this Airi!
And Docking 48 being a reality show, well, Danso being un-realistic kinda blows, don’t you guys think.
BTW, this episode aired wuite a ways back (2nd Oct to be exact) but with the AKB Danso episode, I was so reminded of them and realised I was being selfish by not sharing, to those who know not of this of course. Though I am sure those who are into NMB have already seen the episode for sure. tumblr was teaming with their caps too after all.
