just as I mentioned, I have been closely watching Fairies like a hawk, because I just can’t believe an idol group exists that is not gaysome (unless you are in H!P…oh wait) and I was quite rewarded wonderfully.

But here is the thing, though I already have a favourite ship in fairies, (that being MikiMiria) I yet have to grasp the real couples (away from cameras) as they all seem too playful and there is only one Bishi ( though Kawane can sub-in sometimes too, if she is not all over Sora too that is). To say some of the reasons why I ship MikiMiria, Miria quotes/mentions/references MikiMiki a lot when she is saying something on camera. It seems like these two have a history together as they apparently went to the same school before. Though seeing as MikiMiki is only 13 and Miria 14 (with only a few month’s difference with MikiMiki being the youngest of the whole group and Rikako the eldest) I don’t know how far they go, probably since before kindergarten? this makes no sense though since they are from different prefectures. Hmmm…perhaps it’s very recent and they still go to the same school now they they live together( the whole group lives in a house where four share rooms of two and three in single rooms). Almost like TGS actually. They too live together away from their parents.

Anyway back to point, MikiMiria is sailing smooth and in fact in a few episodes back, Miria mentions how she wants to to the movies once with MikiMiki (again referencing). Mahiro also mentions how the two are hard-core Conan fans. They apparently get lost in their own little world when they are talking Conan leaving the rest lost.

It’s strange actually to think that it’s Miria who is the one with…erm…feelings. MikiMiki is the quite Ace type (not the Ace though) and she is kinda an air-head. Miria on the other hand is quite popular (from her model days) and looks like the kind to attract lost of attention 9which she does) so the way this relationship works in very fresh for me and I love it all the more for it.

But this is getting off-topic quickly. I just came to share this little scene in the latest Harajuku Kira Kira Gakuin episode whose theme was Cosplay. Sadly it wasn’t MikiMiria but SoraMiria.

I will take it!

 

These three (and more so SoraMiria) were the ones that stole the cake!

In they walk in all close like with Sora totally the pimp. Like, how did he manage to have three girls at the same time with one being a foreigner (Rikako) and the tres chick Miria?! How come there was no eye-scratching?! Damn, only Sora can pull that off!

When Okada (the host) asks Miria what the theme is, she ignores him and instead asks her bouya Sora what she thinks. Sora-kun says that whatever Miria wears she looks cute in it.

In other words, “Got the memo bitch – The theme is cute!”

At the start there, Rikako kinda seems to be a little bit farther apart until Sora-kun puts an arm around her shoulders and pulls her closer!

Damn pimp!

I just love how Miria’s presence demands attention

 

This show has three segments with themes of Okada Question, Dance (battles) and Harajuku trends (fashion). Though the last two change from time to time (Not the theme) Okada Question is the same as ever. What happens is that Okada asks the girls to do something and when he is pleased, he gives the winners a Stagi (Star Badge) but if he isn’t (which is mostly Mahiro who fails) he gives them a penalty game!

This episode, he asks them to say something they would say were their date late to their promised meeting place (for an hour). For contrast, Kawane, who dressed up as a Street Dancer, tells the guy not to mind. She was dancing the whole time so it’s okay. Yep, for an hour. Her passion for dance is that great (a badge for her).

Miria raises her hand to go next.

Now here is the thing, usually they go alone but this time Miria grabs Sora-kun’s hand (kyaaaa….hands!!!!) and drags him along. Everyone is le WHAT? Mahiro doesn’t seem that pleased though…

Any way, Okada recovers and lets them continue. When he comes late (for an hour) to his and Miria’s date, what he finds in not his girlfriend but his girlfriend with another guy!! Confusion, then “ I am sorry I’m late, did you wait long?” – The basic question they have t o answer.

Miria only looks to this stranger (Sora-kun) again and asks him instead if he waited (What?!). Sora-kun says he waited but it’s okay…after all….

Miria is MY girlfriend!

I can so totally tell with my spider-sense that a lot of fans are shipping these two instead. They seem to have more physical evidence actually (which is sad)

Okada is not pleased of course to find his date with another guy so these two have the punishment which was supposed to be them making strange faces (you know the game). Here is some examples….

That’s how you do it, right? So what did Miria and Sora-kun do for their punishment game?

Nothing!

They kept looking all fabulous and cute instead~

When Okada asks them what the big deal is, they say…

We just don’t do un-cool things like strange faces…Sorry!

Yep…I am keeping a slit eyes on these Fairies….
