So there we were, me and ma pals cleaning up some fellas in MW3 when suddenly this usually good pal of mine goes “Dude, you said you no watch Nisemono? I think you should start.” I ask “Why should I?” Pal answers “Karen cuts her hair short” I raise me eye-hairs not understanding. Me pal continues with this sick grin probably on their face. I couldn’t see it, what with we balling across the NET and all. My pal goes on “Cut her hair then gets introduced to Kanbaru – The lesbian?”
And so I waste no taimu in downloading the whole 1-9 episodes but as I start from the beginning, I am getting frustrated with all the cock-blocking so I skip to the latest episode. I fast forward to the above scene and there I am, waiting for the proverbial ‘shit hitting the fan’ to go down only…
Nothing other than the intro happens?!
This is a frikkin POV harem crap with some fantasy thrown in so of course when the MC immediately left after the introductions, we had to say goodbye to the obviously AWESOME things that the two were surely up to!
Kanbaru + Karen – Alone in a room full of lesbian literature and we get not a scene of it!
I binned that trash faster than a billing e-mail!
So cheated, do I feel right now!
Friends – To be used BUT not to be trusted!

huehuehue this is why I’m not watching nice stories
March 4, 2012 at 19:09
But seriously, I was so pumped for this only for there to be nothing of value! If only I had a table lying somewhere…
March 4, 2012 at 19:12
This is what happens when you try to make smutty fanservice ~deep~, lol. I’ll bet nisioisin is just trolling us because of a bet he made with some other guy that he could make a popular and highly-regarded show based on nothing but fanservice…
March 4, 2012 at 19:16
Has there been anything other than that in this season any way? All I see of blog caps every where is fan-service, fan-service and even more fan-service!

And this, my “in my imagination” beautiful friend, is why I stopped my episodic analysis of this sequel and reserved it for a G-View instead. Short summary of what it’ll be like: Completely inferior to the sequel and beyond overrated by male otakus. Seriously, I fail to understand why my fellow bloggers praise this crap. It shames its superior prequel in every conceivable way.
Am I to believe that the prequel succeeded not for the fantasy, mystery, intrigue and all around coolness, but instead because of the T and A and MC breakfast club!? Why the heck would I want to waste my time watching 7 episodes where 6 1/2 are dedicated to the girls cock blocking MC!? I did, and it was painful…so very painful.
March 4, 2012 at 19:18
OMG!
Even you couldn’t stomach this? LOL
This is amusing!

Suffice to say my review of this show won’t be pretty and it saddens me because I hold the prequel with the highest of regards. This sequel is crap.
I have two favorite vampire lolis, Mina Tepes and Sunako Kirishiki (Mostly because they are voiced by my beloved Aoi Yuki and both are awesome.) Then there’s this show’s Shinobu…words cannot express how much I loathe this pathetic excuse of a shorty with the cliche 3 digit age just to please hardcore otakus and lolicons. She’s not even entertaining or unique, just a seductive bitch who cock teases MC with sexual acts. F YOU Shinobu!
She’d BETTER BE BADASS IN THE UPCOMING PREQUEL MOVIE! Right now I liked her better with her mouth shut.
Kanbaru, as much I liked her in the prequel…not just because she’s a lesbian (Well, kinda ex right now because she’s practically a member of the MC breakfast club now) but her interesting case and character. Now she disappoints me.
Why Shaft? Why are you doing this to me? You’re my #1 anime company and this is how you repay me? Sucking up to perverts just because they’re the moneymakers? For shame Shaft, for shame.
March 4, 2012 at 19:33
I would say its the story itself not the animators but really. With all the supernatural in this show and SHAFT’s uniqueness, you’d think the result would be of EPIC Proportions but alas!
Sigh
March 4, 2012 at 19:38
EXACTLY! You understand! The elements you described are exactly what made the prequel good. They’re still there in the sequel but they increased the harem factor so high it makes me sick.
Oh, did I forget to mention Shinobu made her speaking debut by appearing naked in the bathroom next to a bathing MC and demanded he wash her back? …..fuck you Shinobu.
March 4, 2012 at 20:48
Hahaha
I felt the same way lst season when Kanbaru went all I’m not gay, I’m Bi-the way by the end!
March 4, 2012 at 20:53
Why? why does EVERY SINGLE GIRL on the show treat this punk like he’s a god among men? What has he done in the 1st season to cure the ladies of their affliction? Intentionally use himself as a punching bag for the girls as a form of anger management.
Oh, I’m so powerful that I could beat you all you girls by myself but to keep you all from getting hurt, I let you all kick my ass. That isn’t chivalry, it’s boasting you jackass!
I could go on and on ranting about this show but I’ve bored you enough Miss BG.

Main Harem characters, with the exception of Madoka, are there to be hated!
‘s all!
March 4, 2012 at 21:01
Refresh my memory. Are we referring to Lagrange’s Madoka or some guy named Madoka? There have been cases of Japanese men having a name assumed to commonly be used by women.
Sorry. It’s just that I know quite a few female non-reverse harem characters.
March 4, 2012 at 21:06
Except that I wouldn’t be referring to such anime!
You should know me better than that OG, really…
March 4, 2012 at 21:11
My sincerest apologies milady…Woof.
No, only Lan is worthy of using this greeting.
March 4, 2012 at 21:19
Except no one greets with “Wan” on Earth….HA!HA!
March 4, 2012 at 21:28
Thankfully Lan realized that unlike cake, “Woof” is NOT a lie. Yes, I like cuteness and I have no shame admitting this. I am a 6 foot tall, hairy behemoth who has a weakness for the omega-kawaii. I dare anyone mock me, lest they wish to have their teeth knocked out of their throats…”Woof”.
March 4, 2012 at 21:32
Is this from the latest episode? Hmmm Haven’t watched that one yet….
March 4, 2012 at 21:44
Oh, I thought you already did. Very well then, take your time.
March 4, 2012 at 22:13
Actually I am done now and I see you were right! There is absolutely nothing to talk about in episode 9, yuri-wise!
March 4, 2012 at 22:23
For now, episode 8 will have to do. Hey, at least Woof lives on!
March 6, 2012 at 11:23
Kanbaru + Karen – Alone in a room full of lesbian literature and we get not a scene of it!
Now you know why we cant have nice things.
March 6, 2012 at 12:05
I was truly dissappoint!
