Classic Meeting is Classic
Another new entry I have my eye on is Moretsu Pirates. I love this season so much so far with all these anime with female leads. You know, I don’t get it. Most anime is created by men, right? You’d think there would be more female leads than male but alas, it seems every creator model their male leads after themselves. Sad, I tell you *shakes head*.
Any ways, many female leads this season, okay, not many but enough, and the lead in Moretsu – Kato Marika has to be one of my favourites so far. Actually they are all great. We have the virgin Mary-like Madoka (No no, not that Madoka. I am talking about Rinne’s Madoka), we have the Loli Assassin Sonya (in Kill Me Baby), the Bad-Ass Hibiki in Symphogear, cute Milky Holmes with the ever sexy rival Henriette , the soon to come BRS and her soul mate Dead Master and finally here we have the intelligent and soon to be captain of a space pirate ship, who looks cute/sexy just like Alicia (Aria). Combine that with her Yomi (GaRei)-look alike Co and this is gonna be one great series/season.

I was led to believe that one of the main cast was off’d in the first episode but that was only half of it. It wasn’t just one, but TWO, two main characters were off’d in the first half of the first episode alone!
Now granted one still lives by the end of the episode but she’s essentially a walking corpse, what with her fate already decided. Don’t blame me dear readers, for this bad news. I was as shocked as you all when not only did they completely kill off one of the main secondary characters (Kanade) but also premonitioned the death of one of the main main characters (Hibiki).
Because I want to make a wish. I don’t even care if I am selling my soul or something so somebody please help me get into contact with Mr. Incubator.
I wish to gather all copies of this movie and burn them from existence, even from the memories of those who were un-fortunate enough to watch it.
I am forever prepared for the despair that might come from having this wish granted so dear Mr. Quubei, please make it happen!
