…What!

This is a coupling song that will come with NMB48’s third single ‘Junjou U-19’ and I gotta say that I love it! Sure, it is still making my brain hurt just trying to figure it out but Oh God it’s so good!

This song, coupled with Junjou U-19 along with Akagumi’s song I am sure (I haven’t listened to it yet) will make this another big hit for my NMB girls. Haters may hate but this group is just so fantastic. Even AkiP himself acknowledges them. It is with this same quality, and some, that they bring us this coupling number with the third single to be released in two weeks.

 
 

I have watched this PV many times trying to figure it out but all to no avail. It begins in class where all the girls are busy studying (and no playing even without a teacher present!) After some time they start leaving until only Saya-nee is left in the room. When she is all alone, Sayaka starts to knuckle in pain as she presses on her chest. While I am thinking she’s gonna pass out, instead she brings her hand away and when she opens in, there is a metal working piece of a music box.

Just a minute in and I am already scratching my head trying to understand what just happened! Did she just pull out a music box piece from her chest? How did it even end up in her hands? But before I have even solved this little mystery, when I blink I find myself along Saya-nee in a forest. It was as if the classroom was transported into a different world/location. Is Saya-nee having delusions all the while still sitting comfortably in class?! Well, I did hear that this PV was about loneliness so maybe she was so lonely that she had started to create this false world in her mind?

 
 
 
 

 
 
 

So much Maa-chun >.<

I guess that is the only explanation for all the floating girls and there being another Saya-nee – The one who had friends, lots of friends that it seemed she was telling Saya-nee that if she wanted, or tried to, she could make herself some friends as well. She did seem to be a loner back in class even though the other girls seemed comfortable talking to the other. What I don’t understand are the scenes of Maa-chun floating in the corridors like a ghost, Nana and Haru in the forest and Jo out there like some Chinese monk! Were they lonely too and that is how deep their loneliness actually is?

If so, dear girls, you had better get yourselves some friends pronto or else you will be so out of your minds that you will soon find yourselves doing crazy things. But wait, this is all in Saya-nee’s mind, so maybe she’s projecting her own vision of the girls that she wants to make friends with and thus thinks them to be (or hopes they are) as lonely as she is!

Gaydar is beeping!

The PV was super gorgeous and the amount of Maa-chun so delicious to the taste. I also love the song a lot. On its own it isn’t as lovely as the main song of the single but accompanied with the PV, it is up for debate, at least to the millions of brown guys in my brain. This is indeed going to be the best single so far of NMB48, even though as songs go, ‘Zetsumetsu Kurokami Shoujo’ is still my favourite. How in the world it even lose to ‘Oh My God’ in the Request Hour 2012, I have no idea!

I have one beef with this single though. In ‘Oh My God’, Jo was on the Red Team as a replacement for Milky, right? So why in the world is she on the White Team now?! Is that even acceptable? Milky is back so what? Besides, we already had Keira so Jo was un-needed, in case it was a 2^nd Gen issue. Sigh, I guess this is good in a way since I am sure I will be forced to like her if she is in the White Team. Maa-chun and Saya-nee just have that effect on me.

*grumble grumble*

Any way other than that, this PV was just so good. So much Maa-chun~   Kanakichi is really starting to climb up my ladder as well She was fabu in this PV. Saya-nee was, well, flawless as usual. The costumes and the overall make-up of the girls was fantastic and their performance top notch – just as I have come to simply expect of them.There was even some fappable moments like this one…

I love NMB48 and I cannot wait for the 8^th to get here already so I can play Junjou U-19 on my system and laugh out loud because I am the only one getting what the song is about! LOL stupid neighbours!
