You can do whatever you want to me even going as far as threatening me by dangling my body from a bridge (I hate deep water so damn much – just like my Yukirin actually) and I still wouldn’t change my mind about what I think of Eclair and Lumiere, which is that…

 

They are the best partners ever in l’histoire of anime!

I love Kiddy Grade so very much. The only regret I have with it is that I wasn’t into anime by the time of airing so I missed the week to week anticipation. Even as I watched it back to back, the suspense of the next episode was looming over me as I went along. Despite there being so many characters, they were all very well cared for and I felt connected to each and every one of them, even the care-desk girls that only appeared frequently. In fact I didn’t and still don’t mind the guys in Kiddy Grade.

Eclair and Lumiere…Eclair and Lumiere are still in my Top 5 anime couples and I don’t see them changing anytime soon. I can probably win a case in court that proves these two have the longest relationship of any two couple/partners/pair in anime! Being together all those centuries and still getting along great is a fit to be acknowledged.

There chemistry was, is and will always be one of the best I’ve seen. They are both always there for each other no matter what. They have both brought the other back from the brink of death (well, as dead as they can get) more times than can be counted. They change bodies like clothes and live through time like protons yet they are always themselves and still walking against the threads  of destiny together. Even when they are separated or lose their memories, they always find their way to each other.

And so you can imagine my raeg towards Kiddy Girl-and.

Even now, I have only watched the two or so episodes in which Eclair and Lumiere appeared. I hated that series so damn much! Would it have hurt to continue on with the adventures of Eclair and Lumiere? Would it?!! It’s not like the first season didn’t leave things open, ‘cause it did! Why the hell did they have to go and produce that…thing instead?!!

Kiddy Grade…Watch it if you haven’t already. And with Blurays of it already out, there is no excuse.
