Melanie & Sasha

I’ve been following season 8 of this show and I gotta say hands down that it is the best of all its predecessors. And that these two deserved no more being the two finalists which they were!

This is the only season that I am going to archive for future enjoyment.

As to why I am writing about this, well, of course I do love Dance (just like every person) but as to why I am writing about it this time is because I couldn’t help and for the first time ever, ship real people. in this case these two girls!

They performed two times as a pair and both times they blew everyone away, myself included of course. At first you know, I was all for Marco/Melanie just like everyone else until these two took on the Robot Number from my most favoured choreographer of the show – Sonya! From then on I was totally hooked on the two as I switched sides faster than Walter (Hellsing OVA 8 is out – Spoilers? too bad!) and began shipping the two. Then in the second last episode they went on to perform this crazy mixed-message number about escape (‘Not gonna get us’ anyone?) then my mind was full of FFFFUUUUU.

There is not a number with these two involved that I did not like. They are both so strong and have great character but the funny thing I find is that while Melanie was strong from the beginning but got softer as the season progressed, Sasha on the other hand was the opposite. She started out somewhat soft then got strong towards the end which is good for now we can guess who is which in the Seme/Uke (Bottom/Top) quandary!

You’ve seriously gotta watch these two.

Totally love them. And as I know others do too, time to go fic hunting!
