Best. Poster. Ever!
‘NNEEAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH’ ‘HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG’
So, yesterday I went to see how it all ends. I never read the books so I was incredibly pumped. I am not a great fan of HP per say, more like a fan of Fantasy/Sci-Fi/Action movies all together! And judging from the trailer, not even sickness would’ve prevented me from watching it.
PS: Luna Lovegood/Evanna Lynch picspam at the end!
Now, I had a bit of…accident actually. I made the mistake of eating before going to the cinema which happened to be Japanese Spicy Beef Somen and green tea – lots of green tea! If one has ever been to a Japanese restaurant, they know how those dudes don’t shy away from fillin’ ‘er’ up. Half of the bowl was soup and feeling bad for leaving any food, I emptied the bowl and the pot of tea.
Big Mistake!
I visited the little room just before sitting down in the cinema but just as Harry was having wet dreams on a train platform, my bladder couldn’t stretch any farther. Was the movie that long? But I was no engrossed that I did want to movie. my body had other plans and spending a couple of minutes away, I had to settle for watching the movie a second time last night.
So I did!
So I did…
And what did I think of it after over five hours of watching? Well;
The Good
The whole movie was great so if I start pointing out the good, I won’t stop.
The Bad
Damn you trailer! You lied to me. You promised me Voldy’s GAY JUICE scream. That was the most looked forward to thing when I went to watch the movie. Where the hell was my
‘NNNNNNYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH’
Goddamn liars! And this is not the first time I’ve been lied to. The last time was that Blood the Last Vampire trailer where I was told Saya would be crushing through walls (tired of opening doors) but it was no where to be seen in the movie! Should I sue? I am sure there is a law about getting sold a product that is different from the advertised.
Sigh~
The other bad thing was Luna Lovegood. There was not nearly enough Luna, once again! Yeah, yeah, I know it’s about the three stoogies but for crying out loud, it they needed a fourth member, Luna would so make the cut! But alas! Not enough of my favourite HP character!
Sad!
Overall, the movie was great. Such a good way to end the series. I wish though that this was a hero movie for once where Voldermont was ‘saved’ in the end. I actually quite felt for the guy! You would think that Harry Potter having shared a soul with him, and thus should feel what Voldy felt as her souls was being torn apart, that he would feel for the guy!
Now I know it had to be difficult seeing as he had hilled Harry’s parents but it wasn’t like Harry remembered it or had seeds of hate within. And really all Voldy wanted was Harry. If the school had given him up, no one would’ve had to die, well except Harry, but we all know of his long affair with Lady Death!
but really, other than that, I loved the movie a great deal and feel satisfied of the wrap up.
Let’s just pray no one decides to reboot it years after into 5D or something!
Still, not enough Luna, and so, I am spamming once again, more Evanna Lynch/Luna Lovegoodness!
Enjoy!
