So after my lovely and stylish (I prefer looks to functionality) LG L1900E BF monitor of four years (Yes, just four) reached its life’s end (Thing blinked faster than any human all the time which got annoying real fast), I decided to get a new monitor.

Leaving room for more dream upgrades, I decided against going for a big and kick ass cool monitor so I just settled for two more inches from my previous 19.

The Pros:

Bigger (22” or 21.6 or whatever)
Full HD @ 1920×1080 (As opposed to my previous 1280×1024)
LED (Which mean that it will last waaay longer than that LCD crap. At least I hope and it looks much better. The Colours!!!)
Light (Thing weighs like a can of coke or something)
Sleeker than my previous L1900E BF and that thing looked cool.

Anyways, this is the reason for the lack of updates here. I have been awaiting my new monitor.

I am still trying to get used to this Wide Screen thing though. for some reason it looks way smaller than my 19” monitor. Hmmmm. Perhaps a 27” would’ve been better after all.

Oh well, there is time for an upgrade since I am going to join the Sandy bridge crowd soon.
