Kimashitaaaaaa!
I am sorry to keep you all waiting but I just can’t get enough of this episode! I have been watching and re-watching it the whole day today! And yes, I downloaded it yesterday but my sugar levels were too high I starved myself until today!
Majisuka Gakuen Season 2 is upon us and by the gods did it deliver! And of course there is no perfect first episode so there were a lot of mixed feelings about the episode but I say to thee who seemed to be disappointed…
| Re-watch the episode a couple of more times. Then re-watch it some more times after the subs come out. You will love it! |
Most raged about the suckiness of the OP. I for one 100% disagree about this. But more on this later.
I loved almost every single bit about this episode and the future looks even more promising. This is gonna be one shitstorm of a series.
To those who are new to MG, this series is such a CAP goldmine. Almost each and every frame is begging to be captured! And it is as such that I warn you before hand of the picspam that is awaiting you Dear Readers.
Seeing as this is episode 01, I am going to cover it by character as we go along.
Now, without farther ado….
PS: Final warning – Major picspam ahead!
Nezumi – Protagonist
Watanabe Mayu of AKB48 Team B plays the Sly and some what Evil Boss Nezumi.
In Season 1, she was there in the shadows manipulating either side for reasons not really made clear. Though looking at things from our stand point, it seemed like she was out to get Rappappa. The death of the leader of the old Rappappa and the consequent graduation of it’s members that would pose a threat to her plans doesn’t seem to have stopped her in her quest as she is at it again and this time…It’s SRS business!
“Why so serous?” You may ask. Well, first of all, she is getting more man power! Having settled down and gone over the reasons why her plans didn’t go as planned the first time around, this time with the help of the good old MATHS too, Nezumi comes to the conclusion that after all, there is only the two of them (Her self and Centre) while Rappappa is cramped!
I am not kidding you that Nezumi started involving mathematics in her plans! That’s how serious she is!
And who best to recruit than the old Rappappa members themselves? Well, there is Team Hormone’s rivals Team Fondue but I am getting ahead of myself here. Anyways Nezumi recruits Shibuya’s underlings; Anime, Rice, Shouwa and Jumbo and as expected of old enemies, the recruitment doesn’t go without miss happenings. But serious Nezumi won’t take NO for an answer and so she be-friends them the White Devil Way.In other words, Beat the crap out of them until they see the light of your ways!
That’s right Ladies and Gentlemen. Nezumi’s gloves are off, so to speak. Who ever thought she was a pansy who couldn’t get into a fight if her life depended on it, well, you were wrong! The girl can handle herself just fine.
But Nezumi is not done yet! She goes all out and seems to have taken the rest of the school under her order by the end of the episode.
Now there is her, Centre, Shibuya’s Underlings, Team Fondue and the rest of the school.
Dear New Rappappa, take a load of that!
Centre – Protagonist 2

SKE48’s Matsui Rena plays Centre, the yang to Maeda’s yin. Although it seems like there is some confusions as Maeda is not the Leader of New Rappappa.
I know, right?!!
Any ways, as Majyou Teppen blues and the end of season 1 promised, Centre is out to to lay claim her spot as centre of the school and she can’t be that while Rappappa still stands. Rappappa is at the top and the leader of that Rappappa is the top dog, or to Centre, the centre of the school!
And so starts the story of Season 2. Centre is out to lay waste to Rappappa so she can stand at the top and she is doing that with the help of Nezumi, whose purpose of attaining power is still unknown.
Not wasting time, Centre climbs up them stairs to Rappappa headquarters clubroom to take care of business once and for all. Upon arriving, she knocks on the door gently like a good girl.
At this moment I was like WTF
But it was all play as she simply kicks in the door! Inside, pimped Team hormone is enjoying the obligatory barbeque of cow innards. Centre seeing that the occupants are more concerned with their food than a girl who kicked in their door, she gets their attention the hard way! Centre kicks the damn food in the air and shows us some skill as she kicks a floating piece of meat that bounces from object to object until she captures it with her mouth!
I grinned like an idiot. Though to be fair my face is stuck from all the grinning I have been doing throughout the whole episode.
That sure gets Team Hormone’s Attention as they finally rise up to the challenge but alas, only their location and hairdo’s has changed since last year. They lose to Centre like the Teal Loser they are.
Centre’s rampage gets put to a stop though when reinforcements start to arrive one after the other.
Not to be interrupted, she finally voices her reasons of coming to Rappappa. She is there to claim her centre so she holas for the leader.
When the leader comes out, it is not whom she, or anyone else for that matter, expected and to make matter worse, this new leader is no joke as she handles Jurina easily.
Having been caught off guard by the unprecedented events, Jurina makes haste her exit to meet up with her comrade Nezumi on the rooftop. Nezumi asks her how things went and about the new leader. Centre seems socked a little that Nezumi knew about her but Nezumi only says that they whole world is in the palm of her hand. Centre relays the info which prompts Nezumi to ump her game and start the recruitment process.
Last season Centre scarcely appeared but this time around, she seems to have a bigass role.
Team Hormone
![]()
Wota (Sashihara Rino, Team A) *Leader
Team Hormone is still the same as usual. Well, apart from their pimped out hair-dos and meaner looks, they are the same old. They still love their Hormone. They still sit uselessly around eating said hormone. And most of all, they are still getting beat up by every other passer-by.
But they are also still as amusing as ever! I especially lol’d at Mukuchi’s entrance.
Their dialogues are still used as the glue to seal over the missing story links like how they filled us in on what the old Rappappa who graduated are up to. They are so popular they even have an imouto group in a year under them.
Some think that Team Hormone seems more important this season but I doubt it. I don’t see them getting above the punching bag status they seem to carry around with them. I will die laughing if their imouto group (Fondue) beats them too. Now that will be gold! 3rd years beaten by 2nd years!
I sure do love their hairdos though.
The look on their faces when Gekikara appeared was one for the records too. There they were all happy that they had been saved from Centre, only for HER to appear. Good thing for them that now they are on the same side and Gekikara seems to have gotten a new target.
Whenever in doubt of where the story went to, or if there is one in MG, look no farther than Team Hormone. want to look awesome at fighting, seek no farther than Team Hormone. All Hail Team Hormone.
Gakuran Youran – New Queen
Team K’s Miyazawa Sae is back as Gakura-I mean as Youran!
KYAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He’s baaaaack! and WTFH is with that ‘DO Youran?! Ah never mind that. So cool! Even in a school if delinquents Youran is still sending hearts astray.
She seems to have completely dropped the male uniform (Hence the discard of the name Gakuran) and now she is in Yankee full mode!
Looking kinda like Sata there Dear Youran
But really, who cares about that? I know I don’t! The simple act of Youran being there is enough!
To make things all the better, she is one of the new Queens of Rappappa. You know what that means…
Ah! I can just spend the day looking at Youran.
She didn’t contribute much to the story this time around so there isn’t much to write about her than simple boot lickin’. She only appeared to save Team Hormone from getting massacred by Centre. What a chivalrous heart.
Kabuki Sisters Nou-Kyougen Sisters – New Queens
![]()
![]()
![]()
OoKabuki (Kasai Tomomi, Team B)
![]()
KoKabuki (Kuramochi Asuka, Team K)
The sisters didn’t do much either except make their presence known.
But just like Team Hormone, they too sure do look more appealing and cool. This might be be due to the fact that when I watched the first season, I was still new to AKB48 and so did not know some members that well. In fact, I didn’t recognise Mocchi, Komori and many more that time. this might also explain the reason why I am enjoying this season waaay better than the last even with…with…
Any ways, getting back on track here, I am looking forward more to the sisters now that I know better of them what with Tomo being a member of my favourite Team (B, whose B5 stages I’ve watched every single one) and Mocchi who is a member of the sub group French Kiss.
I know I won’t be disappointed. Al though they were quite wasted by Gekikara the first time around but I have faith in the year gap. Surely they’ve gotten stronger, if their daily training is anything to go by.
Gekikara Amakuchi Gekikara/Amakuchi (Which is it?!!!) – Queen
SKE48’s other Matsui, Matsui Rena plays the most epic character of this drama, Gekikar… I mean Amakuchi (I am still pissed at this name even though it is obvious not meant to last).
“Our father, who art in heaven. Our lord…”
FFFFFFUUUUUUU!!!!!
I am still crying tears of happiness even now while I type this. The moment I’ve been looking forward to and she appears in the very first episode!!!!
Thank you yee gods!
For those who are lost, way back a few weeks or so when more info on Rappappa was posted, they didn’t give us any on Gekikara so I was majorly worried that she might not appear but it looks like my worries were totally unwarranted. in fact it seems to be the exact opposite as Gekika…Oh snap!…Amakuchi appears to be getting more screenimu (screen time) than the other Rappappa who graduated!
Now you might ask why the hell is Gekikara still present? Wasn’t she also a third year with Black and the rest?
Well my friends, she was a third year but due to the force of nature that is Gekik…Oh bugger it! Gekikara failed to pass so she has to repeat a year by her lonesome. If you were wondering as to why she is the only Queen you know who is present, that is why.
Interestingly, her Queen status still stands. But really, I would expect no less for any one to dare take it away from her! ![]()
Gekikara’s appearance was just for introductions as well as she she didn’t fight anyone. though it got pretty hot in there with the stare off going on between herself and Centre. I swear I felt the hair on my back stand to attention. In fact the fight looked ready to break out until Gekikara remembered her promise to their passed away leader.
The promise, from what I could understand, was that she would definitely graduate this year and not to get angry easily.
I was ready to kill a cat until I saw the hilarity of it all. Gekikara there looking all cute with the effort of trying hard not to let the beast loose. Then later as she tried to study the pencil she was holding broke her face into a smile. No doubt remembering the sweet memory of that time with team Hormone. but all is not to be as she once again tames the beast, though not before looking cute in her efforts first.
I could see the battle going on within her mind as she watched Centre leave the club room. Had it been any other day, blood would’ve been spilt.
And so I was kinda angry yet massively happy about Gekikara’s appearance and if the preview is anything to munch on, Amakuchi is going to lose to Gekikara!
Fuck yeah!
Gekikara is MG. Gekikara is awesome. Long live Gekikara.
*Very much looking forward to the WMatsui fight next week. Oh Shi…Madoka airs next week as well.
AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ![]()
Shaku – New Queen
Team K’s own Miichan, Minegishi Minami discards her position as Head girl to join Rappappa as one of the 4 Queen named Shaku.
She still has the band on her arm though. Sense, it makes none!
Myself, just as everyone else, am glad for this change as Miichan didn’t get much shine time the first time around. And really, simply the colour red, and Long Badass Coat will win the race any day!
She seems to have picked up a Masochist trait along the way, or was it always there? We really wouldn’t know since her character was barely touched upon in the first season.
This time though, as one of the Queens, we are sure to get more of her. In fact she already seems to have her priorities straight above all other characters, well, except Team Hormone..
Looking forward to more Shaku WIN!
Maeda Atsuko – New Rappappa Vice President
Maeda Atsuko (Team A) plays…Maeda Atsuko
Keikakudoori, Atsuko is the leader of new Rappappa…
Or is she?
When Centre requests for the leader to show themselves, Out steps Atsuko looking to be in full Maji mode only…
She isn’t. She is just wearing contacts. Like WTF? Even Centre was not pleased by the troll. I bet you 100 bucks everyone who was watching thought she was in full Maji mode all the time. I bet even more bucks they expected the overdue fight of the centres to commence right then and there.
But alas, trolling is a art!
While Centre is all excited for the inevitable clash of teh Titans, she is dunked in a bucket full of cold water when Atsuko announces that she isn’t the president of Rappappa. She is in fact the Vice President!
Like, Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa![]()
Ha! You definitely didn’t see that one coming, now did you?
That’s right ballies and ballers, apparently Maeda is not serious enough to lead the new Rappappa.
Who is this new leader then? You may ask, well, all in due time.
Back in Rappappa Headquarters, jaws drop upon the revelation and confusion floats every where when the new ‘Leader’ appears. And what an entrance she makes! Looking to all the world like a a certain someone *coughGermanycoughdictatorcough*
Centre is not that impressed by the unexpected and wastes no time in putting her plan into motion and attacks!
A fight that no one could predict happening suddenly breaks out and I gotta tell you. The new Leader is not one to be taken lightly. Even Atsuko seemed surprised there for a moment by the displayed skill.
I gotta say something about Maeda here. the girl looks so high! And I don’t mean high on sugar of coffee! Na uh! She is smocked! this is explained later, perhaps, when we see her nibbling on Sakura petals.
Hm now there is an idea. Next time go to japan I am gonna try these Sakura petals for myself. Who knows, it may be legit after all, this is the first time I’ve seen any one nibble on a Sakura petal!
More to prove that Maeda is way out of her mind is the fact that she is back to the pre-Minami days when she was getting into fights left and right. A conversation between her and the new Leader in that tunnel rings many bells and their walking different ways shows that they most definitely aren’t on the same wavelength.
With a leader like that, Rappappa stands not a chance against the Nezumi/Centre pack. Even with the strong and level headed new leader, even with Awesome Gekikara, if the these fictional stories have taught use anything is that a team with such broken leaderships never wins!
Oh great, now I’ve just spoiled myself the rest of the season! Crap!
Also it seems that Maeda may have broken Yuko’s last request of her by discarding the scarf Yuko gave to her during her last moments at the ceremony.
Bad Maeda!
Bad!
Otabe – New Rappappa President
Team K’s Yokoyama Yui takes over as Otabe, the new Rappappa President.
And you can hear my cup shuttering on the ground as my jaw breaks from the sheer disbelief!
Yes, i know what questions you have but I gotta apologise that I have no answers for you. Nope, not even yours truly has an answer to this madness!
First let’s get into a brief history of this YUI i speak of.
Yokoyama Yui was in the first season though you might not remember her as she only like appeared once, for like 2 seconds in the last episode. At the time she was still a Kenkyuusei member but after the graduation of Team K’s Ono Erena (Higurashi LIVE’s Satoko) last year, Yui was promoted to official status to take Erepyon’s place. She been relentlessly promoted for these past months so really, it was inevitable but still…
No sense whatsoever!
But I am not complaining. I raged a bit upon first hearing of this News but after watching the episode myself I don’t care anymore, much! Yui played her character fabulously. And then there is that mouth. But I am getting off point here.
Sometime during the break, Maeda seems to have found herself a formidable ally and what a girl she is. If you though Maeda to be serious, you haven’t met Otabe! Her seriousness almost, just a little almost, rivals that if Yuko. I guess that is one of the reasons as to why she is where she is?
Anyway, Otabe is not to be messed with as Centre might concur. A new power has appeared in MJ and no one would’ve even guessed it.
She seems to have a complex relationship with Maeda. If it were a different story, I would go so far as to say that Otabe was like Maeda’s conscious. But Otabe is as real as anything. Not at all like the twin ghosts roaming the dark corridors of MJ…oopss! Spoilers!
We don’t really know yet of the circumstances that brought upon these new events but one thing is clear – Otabe and Maeda don’t really see eye to eye completely.
Waiting more on their relationship development and really SRS mode Otabe!
Team Fondue
![]()
Docchi (Shimada Haruka) *Captain
And there we have it guys. A by product of Team Hormone, Team Fondue.
If they don’t look familiar that is because they are Kenkyuusei members though really, these five have been promoted from normal Kenkyuusei even though they haven’t been formally located to the three A, K, and B teams yet.
I can’t speak for you but I did expect Fresh Lemon to appear in this 2nd season. I am a little disappoint in her character but it’s better than nothing or less.
Don’t really know what Fondue means but I bet it has something to do with cheese. Cheese is to this group what hormone is to Team Hormone. Look at Toshima dipping a piece of cheese in cheese sauce. Like, WTH!?!
Team Fondue didn’t do much except wonder on what I have been doing myself about the mess that is the current Rappappa.
I know there is more in store for these five and I eagerly await the inevitable clash between Team Hormone and Team Fondue.
Shibuya’s Underlings
![]()
![]()
Shouwa (Katayama Haruka, Team A)
The poor underlings were a year under their precious leader so they were left behind. Without their leader, there is no reason to stay in Rappappa so the poor babies drown their woes by getting stoned…on petals!
Seriously, what’s with these old Rappappa girl getting off on flowers?
Nezumi drops in on them while they are doing just that. That creepstar is even more scary this time around. Which I really never thought possible but alas! The way she appeared from behind those stairs was…
Let’s not forget the mathematics! seriously, how many evil masterminds work out their evil plans in numbers? None that I’ve seen, really!
Out of their minds, or more like they had no choice, Shibuya’s underlings are forced to join Nezumi.
Their leader will not be to pleased with them once she finds out, which looks like it might be next week!
Onizuka Daruma
Played by SDN48’s Nacchu.
By the powers that be, we are rescued, somewhat, from the annoying ‘Atsu-neeeeeeeeeeee”.
It seems like Daruma is off getting trained in combat.
To that I say, keep trying…Until the last episode hopefully!
Old Rappappa
Oshima Yuko
Teams K’s Oshima Yuko playing herself.
Yuko-senpai is not only a memory but she has somehow transcended the barriers to appear a a ghost to haunt the school. And if that wasn’t enough, she comes in pairs!
HA!
Sado
Played by Team A’s Shinoda Mariko.
Sado is apparently a nurse. Exactly when did she take these nurse lessons? I have no clue but it seems like she sucks back at it so there!
I chuckled as I watched her trying to restrain herself from punching the daylights out of that nurse!
Black
Team B captain Kashiwagi Yuki playing the most badass character in the show!
She looks as happy to work in that super market as I was after learning of her career and then today after seeing that BABY! Actually seeing a baby! So it was true after all. About Black being a single mother!!!
I still can’t believe it though. I bet it’s just her little sister she has to look after by her lonesome after her problematic parent left them alone.
Someone on Nihongogo Forums wrote a short fic about going to this same supermarket then having forgotten something, Black flashes off and gets it. LOL for this is exactly what happened to the lady customer here.
to hell with this! I want my Black back!
Also it may be late but in the photos hanging in Rappappa of the Queens, isn’t it interesting that even Black’s photo seems to attract the darkness?! ![]()
I want ma Black! Pronto!
Shibuya
Team K’s Itano Tomomi.
She looks as interested to work in IT as I was watching these last two episode of Nikita! ![]()
Shit sucked!
But Shibuya is in next week’s preview so hopefully..hopefully…
Torigoya
Team A’s Kojima Haruna.
Well, someone looks happy in her career.
A hostess? Well, I’d her my money…if you know what I mean. ![]()
Gekikara is let loose…
Clash of the Titans!
A new challenger appears.
Yabakune gets their own Maeda.
Shit just got real guyz!
A rat can eat through steel you know!
Nezumi finally makes her move!
Tremble in fear mortals!
.
…
……….
Whew!
If that ain’t the longest post I’ve ever written anywhere!
I did warn you about the picspam. Did you think I was playing?
Heh!
Any way, I love this episode so very much I am going to re-watch it after posting this.
I am too tired from typing and so high I will have to leave my thoughts out of this one!
See you again.

You are welcome.
And yeah! there is a lot of changes and some are even due to perspective now that most members are better known than they were last time around. Well, at least in my case.
This season is gonna be so much fun! I can’t wait for more.

Thank you for visiting and commenting.
But I don’t understand what you mean. These are just screencaps!
Well, except for the top image
