Kind of funny but somehow fitting that Mizuki is the only one appearing in the OP apart from WMatsui. You will know what I mean soon enough.

Anyway, we open up with one Matsui Rena, who is a super singing idol, travelling to one Hotel on one lone Island to attend a cosplay contest!

Hmm…A cosplay Idol, not bad at all.

She makes it to the hotel without mishap. Thank God!

Even the hotel is cosplaying as a church! Shit is awesome!

At the hotel, head maid Kanako is awaiting Rena’s arrival. While heading up the stairs, a good looking boy catches super Idol Rena’s eye. The boy bows and disappears. Turns out it wasn’t a boy but the hotel owner(Mizuki)’s daughter Kumi.

Rena SHOCK!

Rena is shown to her own room. HOLY SHI…That’s a hotel room?!! Arienaiiiii!

Anyway it is not time yet for the cosplay contest to start so Rena chills in the room and soon falls asleep after re-reading the invitation letter she had received from Mizuki.

She is soon woken up by two other contestants Yuka and Yuria! News sure flew fast of Rena’s arrival!

Queue fan-girling over Rena which is soon interrupted by a scream from down stairs!

When Rena-sama, Miko Yuria and Princess Yuka get there, they find that it was nurse Masana who had screamed!

Hotel Owner Mizuki is dead!

By the looks of things, she had been stabbed!

All the hotel inmates start gathering and screaming in succession. For an idol, Rena-sama sure was calm in all of this!

Among them is a detective so not dressed to the occasion. He orders everyone to freeze. The suspect might be among them.

Just as he was getting carried away, queue winds of fate as a new voice speaks.

Mousou Deka Matsui Jurina is on the scene!

BTW, turns out the wind was because of  a small fan she had set up. When though? No body knows!

Enter Jurina FAN-GIRLING over Rena! Finally, she get to do it openly under the disguise of acting! She must be so happy!

I am never washing these hands ever again!

Obvious disbelief that such a girl was a detective but after some proof (cut outs) things get serious!

Whoa! Jurina is scary! Can’t believe she’s 13!

Mousou Deka FACTS!

1. WMatsui – Rena and Jurina were great! Just Great!
2. Acting is good! – No those Japanese girly screams you hear in most horror (kyaaah) but real screams!
3. Mizuuukiiiiii!
4. Yukiko is kinda….
5. The Funny – I laughed so hard! at the wind scene!
6. So recommended! Though there are no subs for the moment, I am sure we won’t have to wait long! These are 13min long episodes after all.

BTW, the reason for the title is because this episode has a lot in common with Umineko no Naku Koro ni. It also resembles Suzumiya Haruhi’s Remote Island Syndrome arc but Umineko most!
