I love this Drama!!!

Did I mention I love this drama?! Oh I did in the last post, didn’t I!

I can’t believe this is actually happening but I am not going to question my luck!

Surprisingly after last episode’s not so good parting, the animosity wasn’t as I would’ve expected between Miho-chan (Hiyama Mihoko-sensei) and Megu-chan (Shiraishi Megumi-sensei).

Most of this episode took place on sight of the accident where twenty were injured. They had to call in all they could on this one. Even a brain surgeon who rarely goes out in field since brain surgery is not to be performed anywhere but the hospital!

Mihoko goes to the cardiac Department and collects another form. Whereas the first one was about the checkup, this one was consent for the operation. Now all she has to do is decide to go ahead with the operation.

Mihoko and Megumi’s first meeting is in an elevator…No…THE elevator! I am I am falling in love with this elevator. I will explain myself in the later posts!

Megumi determined not to let their earlier scratch-fest stop her, she gets right back into the game of pestering Mihoko about her decision. Mihoko as well seems to have forgotten about their earlier fight as well…not…And so tells Megumi off but asking her to not jump to conclusions when even she Mihoko hasn’t decided yet. She tells off Shiraishi by calling her some kinda of fictional mad scientist who would do anything to be the top dog! Ouch!

When they are called in, Hiyama Mihoko is in charge of the transfer of the patients to the hospital via Helicopter and Ambulence. She has to decide the order in which they are sent according to the level of danger they are in of dying. She also helped out whenever she was needed by any other doctors. Me thinks she had the hardest job.

Shiraishi Megumi took care of a couple of patients but her top priority required help with, which Mihoko gave! Megumi goes into doctor mode and ignores the parents of the victim who demand explanations. They wonder why any doctor would perform surgery in the place they were in. Mihoko tries to explain to them, seeing as her partner has blocked out the outside world to perform surgery, that the operation was necessary. Mihoko looks worried for Megumi here.

Of course you know there would be fireworks when the boy died! Mihoko having left before that happened to escort one of the patients that was afraid of flying, didn’t know of what transpired until later when she saw that Megumi’s patient had passed away.

The Heli having already returned and not recommended to fly this late, Kousaku and Megumi who had stayed behind wrapping up their dead bodies took the tram back to the hospital. Megumi sees a scene of a mother and child holding hands and her walls crack. She breaks out in tears in front of all those people!

She is still a girl after all.

Kousaku decides to play prince and shield her from prying eyes. too bad he sucked at math. What about the other two sides prince?!

Back at the hospital, Mihoko is looking through the log of the day’s event and sees that the patient she had helped Megumi with had passed away. She watched Megumi thinking of what to do.

Back in Megu’s secret hiding place, she’s enjoying a cold drink looking emo and sighing to herself when Miho walks in. She teases Megu that her tear trails are showing. Megumi calls her bluff and starts to wipe furiously at her face. Miho laughs and tells her that she was just trolling kidding.

First plan to cheer up Megumi = SUCCESS!

Mihoko tells Megumi that she isn’t displeased with the resolve Megumi showed at the site of the incident! That she isn’t very opposed to her decision to go through with her plans no matter what anybody says! This puts Megumi in a great mood. Mihoko rhetorically asks her what she is getting all excited about but Mihoko smiles herself! This seems to help Mihoko with her decision on the operation as she determinedly stand up and leaves to deliver her signed consent to the operation on her heart!

YES! Mihoko…You are awesome!

Megumi is looking kinda sad there that Mihoko leaves so soon.
